Abstract: 소모품 유니트, 소모품교체 인식 시스템 및 그의 인식 방법이 개시된다. 소모품 유니트의 제1 내지 제3접속단자는 소모품교체 인식장치의 제4 내지 제6단자에 각각 전기적으로 접속된다. 신품 확인신호 발생부는 제4 및 제5단자를 통해 접속된 유니트의 유효 저항값에 대응되는 신호를 발생한다. 발생된 신호에 의해 유니트가 신품으로 판단되면, 과전류 공급부는 소모품 유니트의 신품확인용 퓨저블 저항으로 과도한 전류가 공급되도록 스위칭한다. 이에 의해, 퓨저블 저항은 녹아서 단선되며, 신품 확인신호 발생부는 소모품 유니트의 식별용 판별소자의 유효 저항값에 대응되는 신호를 다시 발생한다. 이 신호에 의해 엔진제어부는 유니트의 사용가능여부를 판단한다. 이러한 소모품교체 인식장치 및 방법에 의하면, 소모품 유니트의 하나의 회로에 퓨즈 및 판단소자를 구비함으로써 회로상의 ASIC 포트수를 줄일 수 있으며, 보다 간단한 회로를 구현할 수 있다.
