PURPOSE: An apparatus for updating named entity database or mining rule database update is provided to manage language resources in a predetermined way by connecting the named entity database and mining rule database with an ontology schema. CONSTITUTION: A mining pattern generating module(130) recognizes a term from the text, and changes the text into the mining pattern. A name entity and mining rule search module(120) searches the name entity and mining rule database(110) using term and mining pattern. In case the name entity is not searched and the mining regulation is searched, the entity name database updating module(140) assumes the named entity based on the mining rule, and stores named entity in advance stores the name entity to the entity name dictionary.

The present relates to a method and a system for providing technology relevance information, and includes (a) a step of obtaining technology relevancy information including subjects related to a certain technology and the technological level or the entry point of the subjects and (b) a step of generating a graph based on the contents of the obtained technology relevancy information to display the technology relevancy information. PURPOSE: A promising technology determination method and a system thereof are provided to search for technologies in a variety of documents and to offer information about fast rowing technologies, technologies related and similar to the leading technologies, and soon-to-be-stabilized technologies, thereby enabling the forecast of the technologies. CONSTITUTION: A promising technology determination system extracts technologies and years by analyzing documents which are stored in a multi-document providing system (S702) and accumulates the documents related to each technology by year (S704). The promising technology determination system calculates the relative growth rate and the average growth rate of each technology using the accumulation number of documents by year (S706). The promising technology determination system picks technologies of which the ratio of the accumulated number of documents for a preset recent period of time to the accumulated number of documents for a preset past period of time is greater than a certain value (S708). The promising technology determination system examines whether or not the relative growth rate of the picked technologies is equal to or greater than the average growth rate (S710). If the relative growth rate of a technology, among the picked technologies, is equal to or greater than the average growth rate, the technology is determined as a promising technology (S712). If not, the technology is selected and stored as a candidate promising technology (S714), and then the S710 is performed.
