    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the dispersion stability and storage stability of the title dispersion by preparing the aq. dispersion from a water-soluble copolymer consisting of a specified cationic surfactant, a cationic monomer and an aromatic vinyl monomer; and a water-insoluble substance. CONSTITUTION:From 1-15mol% cationic surfactant having a 4-28C hydrocarbonic group and a polymerizable functional group, 50-90mol% copolymerizable cationic monomer, and 1-49mol% copolymerizable aromatic vinyl monomer are allowed to react with each other to obtain a water-soluble copolymer. The water-soluble copolymer and a water-insoluble substance are mixed to prepare an aq. dispersion.     Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain the titled substance useful as a cation-forming agent for compounds such as cellulose, polyamine, etc., having high shelf stability, by reacting a tertiary amine with an epihalohydrin in the presence of a 1,3- dihalohydrin.
    CONSTITUTION: A tertiary amine is reacted with an epihalohydrin in the presence of a 1,3-dihalohydrin to give the titled substance. 1,3-Dichloroisopropanol is preferable as the 1,3-dihalohydrin, an amount of it used is preferably 2W8mol% based on the raw material quaternary amine, a given amount of the 1,3-dihalohydrin is previously added to the epihalohydrin, or a fixed amount of the 1,3-dihalohydrin is added to the reaction mixture with time, and the reaction is carried out.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve high frequency characteristics and attainment of capacity by using transition metallic salt solution of a small viscosity as oxidizer solution to be introduced to a surface of a dielectric for formation of solid electrolyte and by forming solid electrolyte by carrying out oxidation polymerization for aromatic compound on a surface of the dielectric. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a metal (Al) foil 1 which becomes an anode is etched and a micro bore is formed to enlarge a surface area thereof. A dielectric thin film 2 of metallic oxide (Al2O3) is formed along a wallside of the bore on the surface. A layer 3 of solid electrolyte which is formed by oxidation polymerization of aromatic compound using low viscosity solution of oxidizer consisting of transition metallic salt of organic acid having viscosity of 100 centipoises or less is formed on a surface of the dielectric thin film 2 to get deep into the bore. An electrode 5 of a metal (Ag paste) which becomes a cathode is attached to the other side of the layer 3 of solid electrolyte. A graphite layer 4 is used between the electrode 5 and the layer 3 of solid electrolyte for keeping good contact, and electrode leads 6 and 7 are attached.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a pigment having the surface coated with an organic polymer having a specific scattering transmittance and total transmittance with brightness suppressing effects and a cosmetic, containing the aforementioned pigment blended therein and having excellent transparency, feeling of bare skin and covering power of color shading such as liver-spot and ephelis. CONSTITUTION:A pigment having the surface coated with an organic polymer with >= 70% scattering transmittance when formed into a thin film of 25 thickness at 20 wt.% powder concentration and >= 85% total transmittance. The aforementioned pigment is obtained by a method for dissolving an organic polymer (e.g. a polyamide, polyolefin or cellulose) in a good solvent such as benzene, stirring and dispersing the powder (e.g. platy barium sulfate) therein and then adding a poor solvent such as methanol, depositing the organic polymer on the powder surface, etc. A cosmetic prepared by blending the resultant pigment therein is capable of simultaneously satisfying good transparency, feeling of bare skin and covering power of liver-spot, ephelis, etc.
