Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunctions caused by the misreception of data by storing temporarily the data received via a bus in a buffer and then disusing the data stored in the buffer if the opposite party connected via the bus is not set in a transmission mode. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 2 stores temporarily the received data in a buffer and the decides whether an integrated circuit ICn is set in a transmission mode or not by checking the slave address transmitted by the microcomputer 2 itself. If the circuit ICn is set in a transmission mode, the microcomputer 2 receives the data stored in the buffer, if not, the data stored in the buffer are disused. Thus it is possible to prevent malfunctions, runaway, destruction, etc., of a system even if a reception mode is erroneously set by the disturbance in terms or hardware.
