    Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture the circuit by quick responsiveness and at a low cost by constituting a protecting circuit so that when a voltage of a second power source loop circuit becomes abnormally high, an output supplied to a relay circuit from a microcomputer is obstructed. CONSTITUTION:A power source switch SW of a relay circuit RY is inserted into a first power source loop circuit A for rectifying an AC power source and supplying a comparatively high DC power source, a second power source loop circuit B for rectifying the AC power source, obtaining a comparatively low DC power source and supplying a power source for a microcomputer is provided, and by an output from the microcomputer 4, the relay circuit RY is controlled. In such a state, a protecting circuit 5 for inhibiting an operation of the relay circuit RY at the time when a voltage obtained in a second power source loop circuit B becomes abnormally high is provided. As for this protecting circuit 5, it will suffice that it is constituted so that for instance, when the voltage is abnormal, an output from the microcomputer 4 is dropped to '0' volt. In such a way, the circuit can be manufactured by quick responsiveness and at a low cost.

Further, the system controller 10 supplies a remote control signal in specific format to an infrared-ray system remote control transmitter 17. When the test items and their rated values are displayed on the monitor image receiving tube 14 as characters the system controller decides whether or not respective measured values are less than the rated values and displays decision marks by colors nearby the display of the corresponding rated values.

The output terminal of the AGC voltage VAGC of the amplifier 3 is connected to the slider of a volume control 6 for brightness adjustment through the series circuit of a diode 10 and a resistor 11. At the time of the weak signal strength. The AGC voltage VAGC becomes not more than threshold voltage, the diode 10 is conducted, the level of a brightness adjustment signal provided for the processing circuit 4 is deteriorated and the average luminance (the level of brightness) of an image is deteriorated. Thus, the brightness of the white peak of a while noise is reduced to make the visual influence by the noise small to reduce the deterioration of the picture quality.

Thus, the number of optical coupling circuits used for signal transmission between the non-charging part and the charging part is reduced to simplify the constitution.
