Abstract: A helm pump (10) rotated either in forward or reverse direction by operating a steering wheel (13) and discharges a liquid of a quantity proportional to the rotating angle, and a double action cylinder moves a rudder (27) and is provided on rudder (27) side of the ship, helm pump (10) and the double action cylinder being connected with the hydraulic circuit of fully closed construction, to move the rudder (27) by an amount corresponding to the amount of liquid discharged from the helm pump (10). A second pump generates discharging pressure in the same direction as the discharging direction from helm pump (10) against resistive pressure generated by the rotation of helm pump (10) due to the operation of steering wheel (13) is installed in series in part of the fully closed hydraulic circuit, so the steering resistance of steering wheel (13) is automatically reduced by the action of the second pump.

The inner cylinder is rotated so as to satisfy the predetermined condition to generate Taylor's vortex having the mixed promoting area and the isolated mixed area, and to classify the particles flown in the space between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly produce a mixture wherein substantially monodisperse particulates of a dispersion phase are distributed homogeneously enough in a continuous phase. SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for producing the fine particles comprises two tubes, an outer tube 11 and an inner tube 12 coaxially disposed with each other. The tip 21a of the inner tube 21 is separate from the top 11b of the outer tube 11 by a relatively long distance. While Fluid II flows in the inner tube 21 toward its tip 21a, Fluid I flows as a continuous phase in the outer tube 11 toward its top. Fluid II discharged from the tip 21a of the inner tube 21 can be turned into almost spherical droplets 3 having a desired diameter and surrounded by Fluid I in the outer tube 11, by controlling pumps 14, 24 each according to the command of a controller 31 to make Fluid I and Fluid II flow at a proper flowing velocity in the outer tube 11 and the inner tube 21 respectively. Since the upper part of the vessel 2 is opened, the garbage housing sections 9a, etc., are so constructed that steam can be released to the upper part. Further, the garbage housing sections 9a, etc., have the pores 3b at their bottoms and therefore the garbage housing sections 9a, etc., are so constructed that the steam can be released from their lower parts.
