    Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a pump having low pressure loss and small size while easy to manufacture with sufficient strength, by forming the pump such that a plurality of planar bimolf vibrators are laminated to produce a space between each vibrators. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular or a circular bimolf vibrator 13 is supported through a rubber resilient material 14 by a supporting frame 15, where holes 16- 19 are formed as the fluid path and one of them is conducted by an inlet/outlet port 20 to a cell to be formed by choking the upper face with a plate. At the opposte face the hole 18 is conducted by an inlet/outlet port 21 to the cell. The volume of the cell to be formed between the modules by laminating said modules will vary periodically through the vibration of the vibrator 13 thus to function as a pump. Since the vibrating face is exposed to the outside it is strong, while since the usage of the rubber material is limited the pump efficiency is high.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the dead region around the angular velocity of a laser gyro omega=0 by detecting a one-way traveling wave ring laser rotating with an input axis which is a detected substance and the output beat frequency of a reference linear laser. CONSTITUTION:The frequency of laser light L2 takes a constant value depending on closed optical path length if a normal passing the center of the closed optical path surface of a one-way traveling wave ring laser URL is regarded as a sensitivity axis. In the angular velocity omega of the sensitivity axis, the frequency varies in directly proportional to omega by Doppler effect. When the modulated light L2 and laser light L3 from a reference linear laser RLL not sensing omega are interfered by combining them as the same directional traveling wave through an output read device ROD, interference fringe is generated by heterodyne effect and the fringe moves by a difference between the frequencies of L2 and L3, namely, by the velosity which is proportional to those beat frequencies. Therefore, the laser gyro recognizes omega by measuring its beat frequency.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the preprocessing adapted for the purpose, by making the picture signal binary and by counting data of the picture pattern in accordance with the purpose. CONSTITUTION:Solar image 11 projected on the CCD image sensor is divided into faces 12, 13, 14 and 15 having 64X64 constitution. Data 0, 1, 2 and 3 are written into memories corresponding to thse divided faces. Therefore, when the sensor scans the region of face 12, memory outut 6 becomes 0, and data which passed through binary circuit 7 is led to the 0th counter of counter group 9 by multiplexer 8. Consequently, numbers proportional to areas of solar image 11 projected onto respective divided faces are counted by counters corresponding to respective divided faces. If the direction of picture converting device 1 is so determined by a computer that these divided areas are equal to one another, this direction becomes the center of the sun, and tracking is possible.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize a direct reading for the speed of current, by detecting the vibrating fluid caused by heating with two pieces of detecting elements and then selecting the heating frequency so that the phase always satisfy a specific relation. CONSTITUTION:The heating wire 3 is heated by the output obtained by amplifying 9 the output of the frequency variable oscillator 6, and the frequency at this moment is monitored by the counter 7. The heat current flows down by the heating of wire 3, and this heat current vibration is detected by the detecting elements 4 and 5. The outputs obtained at the heat detectors 10 and 11 are applied to the X and Y axes of synchroscope 12. Then the frequency of oscillator 6 is controlled to secure a phase difference of 180 deg. for the displayed waveform, and the speed of current is read directly from the frequency of counter 7 at the moment when the phase difference becomes 180 deg..

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To vary the cooling effect of a cooling turbine blade in a direction of span thereof by joining a plurality of gas turbine blade elements one upon another and to improve the cooling performance of the turbine blade by forming a film cooling passage in a curved form. CONSTITUTION:Cooling turbine blade elements 11, 12, 13 are combined to form impinge passages 2 and film cooling passages 4. The cooling effect can be varied in a direction of span of the cooling turbine blade by inserting those elements having no cooling passages 2, 4 in serveral locations in the direction of span or by changing dimensions of cooling passages of the cooling turbine blade elements 11, 12, 13. Each film cooling passage can be formed into a curved form by seaming the cooling turbine blade elements by diffusion, thereby improving the cooling performance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a high nozzle opening ratio in an expandable nozzle which is preferably applied to a rocket and an outlet at the nozzle part is widely opened by a method wherein a plurality of helically wound slates are a major constituting element of the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Slates 2 made of a material having a high heat-resistance and proper flexibility are formed such that the bent-over parts 4, 4' having notches 3 at both longitudinal side edges thereof are directed with one of the turned-up part 4 facing front surface of it and the other turned-up part 4' facing rear surface thereof, resulting in making a tapered nozzle in general. One end of the slate 2 is pivotally fixed at an outer circumferential surface of the nozzle base part 6 by pins 5 etc. and the other end of the slate is pivotally fixed to the ring 7 by pins 8 etc., and thus a number of slates 2 are arranged in parallel between the nozzle base part 6 and the ring 7 to form the expandable nozzle 1. When the expandable nozzle 1 is to be stored as shown in A, each of the slates 2 is wound along an outer circumferential wall of the nozzle base part 6, and on the contrary when the expandable nozzle 1 is to be expanded as shown in B, it is driven by an actuator for the ring 7.
