Abstract:
An adaptive spindle motor start-up method and a disk drive using the same are provided to prevent the delay time for a spindle motor to reach the target rpm and to optimize the whole driving time effectively by adjusting a driving factor value related to driving current according to the sensed temperature. A disk drive comprises a spindle motor(130), a spindle driver(120), a temperature sensing part(170), and a controller(110). The spindle motor has a rotor and a stator. The spindle driver supplies drive current, which consists of a plurality of unit driving pulses, to the spindle motor. The temperature sensing part senses and outputs the temperature of the disk drive. The controller adjusts a driving factor value related to drive current according to the sensed temperature when initially driving the spindle motor.

A sense amplifier enable circuit and a semiconductor memory device having the same are provided to reduce an operation fail of the semiconductor memory device by reducing a sensing fail. In a sense amplifier enable circuit for enabling a sense amplifier(40) in a semiconductor memory device, a delay part(106) delays a sense amplifier enable signal and outputs the delayed sense amplifier enable signal as a sense amplifier enable delay signal, in response to a delay control circuit. A delay control part(116) controls the intensity of the delay control signal by receiving a reference signal having temperature decrease dependent characteristics.

PURPOSE: A two-sided printing image forming apparatus having a paper mooring/inverting unit is provided to improve two-sided printing speed to a level corresponding to single-sided printing speed. CONSTITUTION: A two-sided printing image forming apparatus includes a paper stack unit(110), a pick-up/transfer unit(106) for picking up and transferring papers(115) stacked in the paper stack unit, a developing unit(130) for forming a toner image on paper, a fixing unit(140) for fixing the toner image, a paper discharging unit(150), and a two-sided printing unit(160) having a paper return path(B) for returning paper one side of which has been printed to the developing unit and a transfer part(180) for transferring paper through the paper return path. The two-sided printing unit includes a paper transfer direction switch(143) and a paper mooring/inverting part(170). The paper transfer direction switch guides a paper transfer direction to move paper to the paper return path in case of two-sided printing. The paper mooring/inverting part temporarily moors paper one side of which has been printed and, simultaneously, inverts the printed face of the paper while the next paper is being printed.

PURPOSE: A call processing method for managing the state information of an AN(Access Node) in a CDMA2000 1x EV-DO(Enhanced version-Data Only) system is provided to offer the state information of an AN, varied according to call origination and termination made in a private mobile network, to a public network. CONSTITUTION: In order to use a CDMA2000 1x EV-DO service, an AN(11) transmits a call connection request message to a pANTS(101), including a UATI(Unicast Access Terminal Identifier) and a destination address(201). The pANTS(101), receiving the call connection request message, transfers it to a hub after IP communication processing. The hub transmits the received message to a pANC(112). Receiving the call connection request message, the pANC(112) transmits a request message for a terminating AN's subscriber information to a DLR(Data Location Register)(121)(203). The DLR(121), receiving the subscriber information request message, inquires into associated subscriber information and transmits a subscriber information response message containing subscriber information to the pANC(112)(205). The pANC(112) caches the location of the terminating AN through the subscriber information contained in the subscriber information response message and sets up a call so that the CDMA2000 1x EV-DO service can be provided to AN(11)(207).

PURPOSE: A circuit of producing output data of a semiconductor device having a level shifter is provided to increase the speed of producing output data and the speed of high impedance transition and minimize skew between the output signals produced in pull-up and pull-down. CONSTITUTION: In a circuit of producing data of a semiconductor device having a level shifter, an output buffer(10) receives and latches an input data(DATAB) responding to a clock control signal(DATA) having a range of the first voltage and produces a pair of signals of output data(DATACB,DATAC). A high impedance controller and level shifter(25) produces data driving high impedance to control the state of high impedance responding to the first state(HI) of the high impedance control signal(HZ) through a pair of output lines(L3,L4). And responding to the second state(LOW) of the high impedance control signal(HZ), the high impedance controller and level shifter(25) receives the pair of the output data(DATACB,DATAC) and produces a signal of a pull-up output data signal(DOU) and a signal of a pull-down output data(DOD) both having a range of voltage broader than the range of the first voltage through a pair of output lines(L3,L4).
