Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain small-sized highly sensitive television camera by providing a slow shutter control circuit with the use of an image pickup element which can control an exposure time, storing the signal output of said image pickup element, and repeating reading during an exposure continuous period, and interpolating. CONSTITUTION:In a timing generator 13 for the slow shutter in a slow shutter control circuit 101, a charge is not transferred for the period of plural fields, the charge is continuously accumulated for the period of the plural fields, and then the charge to take off the signal is transferred. The output of a camera signal processing circuit 5 is sent through a switching circuit 108 to a recording signal processing circuit 6, simultaneously, sent to a field memory unit 102, stored in a field memory 104, further, read by way of a D/A converter 106, and the identical video signal is sent through the switching circuit 108 to a recording signal processing circuit 6 in a null period and a one-field period respectively for once. Thus, the television signal interpolated so as not to generate the null period can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To apparently eliminate a transition time by providing a transition vector table and making mode transition according to the transition vector table. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism controlling section 1 is provided with a loading motor 11 that makes loading and unloading of a tape, a control motor 12 that controls mode of a VTR (mechanism), and controller 2 is supplied to the controlling section 1 to make respective mode, and at the same time, signals indicating the state are supplied from the controlling section 1 to the controller 2. A mode transition table and a transition vector table are provided in the ROM of a microcomputer that constitutes the controller 2. When an operation key of a key inputting means 3 or an operation key of the controller of a remote- controller is depressed, this is processed by the controller 2, and the result of processing is supplied to the controlling section 1, and the controlling section 1 is controlled to attain a specified operation mode, and at the same time, the mode is displayed by a displaying means.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To compensate the error of data written on a mask ROM with a programmable ROM and to facilitate the compensation of a program by building in the mask ROM of large capacity and the programmable ROM of small capacity. CONSTITUTION:A data address from an address input terminal 1 is supplied to a mask ROM2 and a programmable logic array 7, and the output of the array 7 is supplied to a programmable ROM9 through an encoder 8. Also, the output of the ROM2 is outputted to a data output terminal 4 through a gate circuit 3, and also, the output of the ROM9 is outputted to the output terminal 4 through a gate circuit 10. Meanwhile, the output of the array 7 is added on an OR circuit 11 and a write circuit 15 to which a write control signal is inputted, and the address of the erroneous data of the ROM2 is set at the array 7. And conductions of the circuits 5 and 10 are controlled by the output of the OR circuit 11, and the error of the data written on the ROM2 is compensated at the ROM9.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate correction of software contents for a read only mass memory by composing the software for the read only mass memory so that it is corrected by a program for a small nonvolatile memory. CONSTITUTION:When the softwares written in a compact disk CDROM 1 of the read only mass memory and a floppy disk FD 2 of the small nonvolatile memory are loaded to a computer main unit, a basic part in the ROM 1 is transferred to a read RAM 6 through a port 3a by a signal sent from a ROM 5 based on a command of CPU 4. Moreover, an auxiliary program in an FD 2 corresponding to a program read from the ROM 1 is transferred to the read RAM 6 through a port 3b by the signal sent from the ROM 5. The auxiliary program of the FD 2 corrects the program read from ROM 1 and also corrects the ROM 1 program transferred to the RAM 6 to complete its program.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive communication system by applying period formation so that a communication period and a pause period are repeated alternately periodically in applying two-way communication to serial data between a master set and a slave set through a communication line. CONSTITUTION:In applying 2-way communication between the master set and the slave set, one communication section is formed by two communication areas P1, P2, and the areas P1, P2 are used respectively as transmission and reception areas of the master set. When the 1st master bit SB1 is generated from the master set at the area P1, transmission data is extracted from a microcomputer in the master set and transmitted to the slave set through a transmission line. When the 2nd start bit SB2 is generated from the master set at the area P2, it is detected by the slave set and data is transmitted from the slave set to the master set at a point of time of the SB2. The microcomputer executes other jobs than the communication at the pause period when the communication period is finished. The communication period and the pause period are repeated at prescribed period length.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely shorten the time elapsed until a rotary drum reaches a steady operation. CONSTITUTION:The synchronous state of a video signal is detected by a synchronous-state detection part 16. When it is detected by the synchronous-state detection part 16 that the state is externally synchronous, the rotational speed of a rotary drum 1 is set at the speed of an output (the signal of a first target speed) from a speed-reference-signal generation part 12. When the rotary drum 1 reaches the first target speed, the rotary drum 1 is accelerated so as to become a final target speed. In addition, the phase of the rotary drum 1 synchronized with a synchronizing signal which is output from a synchronizing-signal generation part 14. On the other hand, when it is detected by the synchronous- state detection part 16 that the state is internally synchronous, a trigger pulse which is output from a reset-trigger generation part 19 is supplied to a phase- difference-signal generation part 13. Thereby, a phase reference signal as an output from the phase-reference-signal generation part 13 is reset, and the phase of the phase reference signal is adjusted to the phase of the rotary drum 1.

In this device, a phase error is formed by comparing a synchronizing signal from a phase reference generator 10 with the PG signal, and a speed error signal is formed by comparing a reference signal from a speed reference generator 11 with the FG signal. Further, a reset means 12 for the synchronizing signal from the phase reference generator 10 is provided, and the signal from the error detection circuit 4 is supplied to an operation circuit 200 of a speed and acceleration, and the reset means 12 is driven by the output of the circuit 200.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve operability by displaying a mode summary with respect to a function provided in equipment by performing menu-display, and enabling a desired mode to be selected from the summary. CONSTITUTION:In a video camera 1, for example, a key for selection of a mode(manual. outdoor, etc.,) with respect to white balance is provided at a key input part 8. A microcomputer 7 sends a command to a character generator 6 to perform the summary display of a white balance mode when receiving the first input signal of the key, and after an image signal for pull-down menu display is synthesized with the output of a camera signal process circuit 4 at a mixing part 5, it is outputted to an EVF circuit 14 and a video signal output terminal 13, etc., via a video signal process circuit 12. A mode and a barometer in accordance with the mode are shown on the pull-down menu display, and a user performs mode designation by a key operation as observing them. When the mode is defined, the menu display disappears from the screen leaving the barometer representing the mode on the screen.
