Abstract:
PURPOSE:The titled fiber having high-degree antistatic properties and scarcely fibrillating, and obtained by arranging (A) a mixture of a polyester with a specific amount of a block polyether amide composition and (B) a polyester in a specific constitution. CONSTITUTION:A block polyether amide composition, preferably a mixture of a copolymer of a polyalkylene ether and a polyamide e.g. nylon 6, with 3-7wt% each an organic electrolyte and a phenolic antioxidant, in an amount to give 0.05-5wt% the polyalkylene ether, preferably polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 3,000-8,000, in the total fiber is mixed with a polyester. The resultant mixture (A) as a core component is subjected to composite spinning concentrically with (B) a polyester as a sheath component at a ratio between the core component and the total fiber of 5-50wt% to give the aimed composite fiber having an elongation at break of about 50-200%.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:The titled fiber having improved fiber-making properties, heat and light resistance, obtained by combining a polyester as a sheath part with a mixture of a polyester and a specific block polyether-amide composition as a core part. CONSTITUTION:(A) A polyester, e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, as a sheat part is combined with (B) a mixture of (a) a block polyether-amide composition and (b) a polyester as a core part into a composite fiber having a fineness per fiber of 1.5 de or less. The component (a) is a mixture of a block copolymer of a polyamide, e.g. nylon 6, with a polyether, preferably a polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 3,000-8,000, an organic electrolyte, e.g. sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, and a phenolic antioxidant. The mixing ratio of (a) to (b) is preferably set to give 0.05-5wt% of the polyether based on the total fiber.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:Title fiber that is produced by conjugate spinning using polyester as the outermost layer and core part and polyamide as the interlayer and dissolving the surface layer with aqueous alkali, thus showing improved touch and dyeing properties. CONSTITUTION:The objective conjugate fiber consists of (A) the outermost layer and (B) the core part made of the same or different fiber-forming polyester, preferably polyethylene or polytetramethylene terephthalate containing 1-7mol% of sodium 3,5-dicarboxybenzenesulfonate or its derivative, and (C) the intermediate layer fiber-forming polyamide such as nylong 6, wherein the contents of each component are 10-30wt% of A, 10-30wt% of B and 40-80wt% of C.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:A specifically composed polyester of polyethylene terephthalate is used as the yarn-splitting component and it is combined with a polyamide to produce conjugate fibers, thus improving the release resistance before split and facilitating the splitting with an aqueous alkali. CONSTITUTION:As the splitting component, is used polyester A containing 2.4 mol% or more, preferably 3-30mol% of ethylene 5-sodiumsulfoisophthalate and 70mol% of more ethylene terephthalate units. The polyester is conjugated with the polyamide component B to form conjugate fibers in which the polester component A forms the sea continuously and divides the polamide component B into several sections. Then, the conjugate yarns are treated with an aqueous alkali to dissolve the polyester component A, thus giving polyamide split yarns.
