    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, good in heat resistance and useful for molding by injection molding with hardly any coloring with a food at a high temperature by blending polycyclohexanedimethylene terephthalate with an inorganic filler, talc and a specific compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by blending (A) polycyclohexanedimethylene terephthalate or a polycyclohexanedimethylene terephthalate-based polyester prepared by partially substituting its terephthalic acid component with isophthalic acid with (B) an inorganic filler (preferably glass fiber, titanium oxide, etc.), (C) tale and (D) an organic phosphite or phosphonite compound having P-O bond bound to a 6-30C aromatic group so as to provide 5-60wt.% component (B), 0-5wt.% component (C) and 0.05-2wt.% component (D). Bis (2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methylphenyl)pentaerythritol di-phosphite, etc., are preferred as the component (C).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester composition which has a high crystallization rate and excellent moldability in a low-temperature mold and can give a molding excellent in mechanical properties, etc., by mixing a specified polyester resin with a specified amide compound and a specified reinforcing or filling substance in a specified mixing ratio. CONSTITUTION:This composition is prepared by mixing a specified amount of a polyester resin prepared by adding a specified amount of a phenolic organic sulfonate of formula I [wherein Ar is a 6-30C aromatic ring; M is an alkali (alkaline earth) metal; (m) is 1-2; and (n) is 1-5] to a specified amount of a thermoplastic polyester comprising an 8-20C aromatic dicarboxylic acid (lower alkyl ester) and a 2-20C diol before completion of the polycondensation of the polyester with a specified amount of an amide compound obtained by the condensation of compounds of formulas II and III (wherein R and R are 1-35C aliphatic groups or aromatic groups and are not aromatic groups simultaneously; R2 is H or a 1-4C aliphatic group; and (k) and (l) are each 1-3 and are not 1 and 3 simultaneously) and having a specified molecular weight and a specified melting point, and a specified amount of a reinforcing or filling substance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester composition which has a high crystallization rate, shows excellent moldability in low-temperature molds, and gives moldings having excellent mechanical properties and weatherability by blending a specific polyester resin with a specific thermoplastic polyester in a predetermined proportion. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprises a blend of 1-99 pts.wt. polyester resin and 99-1 pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester obtained from (A) an 8-20C aromatic dicarboxylic acid or a lower alkyl ester thereof (e.g. dimethyl terephthalate) and (B) a 2-20C diol (e.g. ethylene glycol). The former resin is one produced by adding 0.01-20 pts.wt. phenolic organic sulfonate represented by the formula (wherein Ar is a 6-30C aromatic ring; M is an alkali (alkaline earth) metal; (m) is 1 to 2; and (n) is 1 to 5) (e.g. sodium p-phenolsulfonate) to 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester obtained from starting materials that are the same as the compounds (A) and (B), the addition being conducted before the completion of the polycondensation.

CONSTITUTION:A polyester resin is obtained by polycondensing (a lower alkyl ester of) of an 8-20C aromatic dicarboxylic acid with a 2-20C diol in the presence of 0.01-20 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. obtained thermoplastic polyester, organic phenolic sulfonate of the formula I [wherein Ar is a 6-30C aromatic ring; M is an alkali (alkaline earth) metal; m is 1 or 2; and n is 1-5]. 100 pts.wt. said resin is mixed with 5-140 pts.wt. reinforcing of filling substance and 0.1-10 pts.wt. polyalkylene glycol compound of formula II (wherein R1 and R3 are each a 1-20C aliphatic group or an aromatic group; R2 is a 2-4C aliphatic group; and n is an integer which gives a molecular weight of 400 or above to the compound).

ABS resin with 15-89 pts.wt. polyester resin prepared by modifying 100wt.% thermoplastic polyester prepared from an 8-20C aromatic dicarboxylic acid or its lower alkyl ester and a 2-20C diol with 0.01-20wt.% phenolic hydroxyl-containing organic sulfonic acid salt of formula I (wherein Ar is a 6-30C aromatic ring; M is an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal; m is 1 or 2; and n is 1-5), 1-70 pts.wt. modified vinyl polymer prepared by copolymerizing a monomer mixture comprising 50-90wt.% aromatic vinyl, 9-50wt.% vinyl cyanide and 0.1-20wt.% alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid metal salt and an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid having the relationship of formula II, wherein x and y are the weight percentages of the alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid metal and the (alpha,betaunsaturated carboxylic acid in the copolymer, respectively.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition suitable as a molding material having excellent mechanical characteristics and properties of reduced flashes. SOLUTION: This polyphenylene sulfide resin composition has the structure controlled to a two-phase continuous structure having 0.01-1 μm structural period or a dispersed structure having 0.01-1 μm center distance of dispersed particles. A method for producing the polyphenylene sulfide resin composition comprises carrying out phase separation of a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition composed of at least two or more components of resins and containing one or more kinds of polyphenylene sulfide resins by spinodal decomposition. Furthermore, the method for producing the polyphenylene sulfide resin composition comprises forming the two-phase continuous structure having 0.001-0.1 μm structural period in the initial period of the spinodal decomposition and then further developing the resultant structure into the two-phase continuous structure having 0.01-1 μm structural period or the dispersed structure having 0.01-1 μm interparticle distance.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin composition suitable as a molding material such as a structural material utilizing excellent moisture resistance and impact resistance related to surface impact such as falling weight impact. SOLUTION: This polyamide resin composition having the structure controlled to a two-phase continuous structure having 0.01-1 μm structural period or a dispersed structure having 0.01-1 μm center distance of dispersed particles. A method for producing the polyamide resin composition comprises carrying out phase separation of a polyamide resin composition composed of at least two or more components of resins and containing one or more kinds of polyamide resins by spinodal decomposition. Furthermore, the method for producing the polyamide resin composition comprises forming the two-phase continuous structure having 0.001-0.1 μm structural period in the initial process of the spinodal decomposition and then further developing the resultant structure into the two-phase continuous structure having 0.01-1 μm structural period or the dispersed structure having 0.01-1 μm interparticle distance.
