Abstract: 본발명은직접분사엘피아이시스템에관한것으로, 봄베에내장된액체상태의엘피지연료를엔진의연소실내부로직접분사하는직접분사엘피아이시스템에있어서, 상기봄베내부에내장되어상기연료를펌핑하여엔진쪽으로공급하는연료펌프, 상기연료펌프에의해펌핑되어공급되는연료중에서일부를고압으로가압하고나머지연료를상기봄베로회수하는연료회수라인에전달하는고압펌프, 상기고압펌프에연결되어고압으로가압된연료가충진되는딜리버리파이프, 상기딜리버리파이프에연결되며고압으로충진된액체상태의연료를상기연소실내부로직접분사하는인젝터및 상기엔진의목표 RPM에기초하여상기고압펌프로부터가압된연료를연소실내부에직접분사하도록상기인젝터의구동을제어하는중앙처리유닛을포함하는구성을마련한다. 상기와같은직접분사엘피아이시스템을이용하는것에의해, 본발명은연료펌프의지속적인펌핑동작에의해고압펌프로공급되는연료중에서일부를고압으로가압하여딜리버리파이프로공급하고, 나머지연료를고압펌프의저압부로부터봄베로회수하도록하여봄베내부의열평형을유지시켜봄베내부의연료온도상승으로인한엘피지연료의기화를방지한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A direct injection LPI(Liquid Petroleum Injection) system is provided to constantly supply LPG fuels to an engine with improving the fuel efficiency of a pump by minimizing cavitation caused by fuel evaporation. CONSTITUTION: A direct injection LPI system(10) comprises a fuel pump(12), a high pressure pump(14), a delivery pipe(15), an injector(I), and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(17). The fuel pump is embedded in a bombe(11), and supplies fuels to an engine by pumping the fuels. The high pressure pump pressurizes a part of pumped fuels at high pressure, and delivers the residual fuels to a fuel recovery line(R). The delivery pipe is connected to the high pressure pump, and filled with the fuels pressurized by high pressure. The injector directly injects liquid fuels inside a combustion chamber. The injector is controlled based on the target RPM of the engine in order that the fuels are directly injected inside the combustion chamber.
