    Abstract: The present invention relates to a technology relating to a kit for detecting Hanwoo subcutaneous fat tissue using Hanwoo subcutaneous fat tissue-specific expression genes ERBB2 and IGF2BP and a method for detecting Hanwoo subcutaneous fat tissue using the same, and more specifically, to a kit capable of detecting Hanwoo subcutaneous fat tissue by checking expression levels of the ERBB2 and IGF2BP genes in a subject and a method for detecting Hanwoo subcutaneous fat tissue using the same. The present invention can achieve commercialization of the kit for detecting subcutaneous fat tissue-specific genes, production of high-quality meat through the induction of specific fat accumulation in the beef loin of Hanwoo, and the development of the body composition control technology through control of the fat content of Hanwoo, and thereby the body fat control information can be applied to other domestic animal species.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a kit for detecting abdominal adipose tissue of Korean native cattle using ISL1 and MMP9 which are specific expression genes for subcutaneous fatty tissue of the Korean native cattle and a detection method using the same and, more specifically, to a kit which can detect abdominal adipose tissue of the Korean native cattle by investigating the expression amount of ISL1 and MMP9 genes in a subject, and to a detection method using the same. According to the present invention, commercialization of the kit for detecting abdominal adipose tissue of the Korean native cattle can be possible; production of high quality beef can be possible by inducing specific fat accumulation within longissimus muscle of the Korean native cattle; development of body composition control technique can be possible through fat content control of the Korean native cattle; and body fat control information through the same can be applied to other domestic animal species.
