The present invention relates to a kit for detecting abdominal adipose tissue of Korean native cattle using ISL1 and MMP9 which are specific expression genes for subcutaneous fatty tissue of the Korean native cattle and a detection method using the same and, more specifically, to a kit which can detect abdominal adipose tissue of the Korean native cattle by investigating the expression amount of ISL1 and MMP9 genes in a subject, and to a detection method using the same. According to the present invention, commercialization of the kit for detecting abdominal adipose tissue of the Korean native cattle can be possible; production of high quality beef can be possible by inducing specific fat accumulation within longissimus muscle of the Korean native cattle; development of body composition control technique can be possible through fat content control of the Korean native cattle; and body fat control information through the same can be applied to other domestic animal species.

The present invention relates to a kit for detecting an abdominal adipose tissue of Korean beef using abdominal adipose tissue specific expression gene TBX152 and ZIC1 of the Korean beef, and a detecting method using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to the kit for detecting the abdominal adipose tissue of the Korean beef by investigating an expression ratio of the TBX152 and ZIC1 genes in an object to be tested, and the detecting method using the same. According to the present invention, the commercialization of the kit for detecting an abdominal adipose specific gene is available. Also, high-quality meat can be produced through the induction of specific fat accumulation within beef loin of the Korean beef, and a body composition control technique can be developed by controlling the contents of fat of the Korean beef. Therefore, body fat control information can be applied to other species.
