Abstract: A substrate processing device is provided to prevent the gas leakage within the process chamber by supplying the purge gas from the gap of the peripheral part of the process chamber into the process chamber. The upper side opening of the enclosure body(2) is covered with the cover(3). The process chamber(20) is for supplying the process gas to the wafer (W) on the loading table(4). The process gas exhaust duct(81) exhausts the gas within the process chamber. The buffer room(7) is formed between the peripheral part of the enclosure body and the peripheral part of cover. The fuzzy gas supply furnace(71) supplies the purge gas. The supply flux of the process gas is smaller than the exhaust flux of the process gas exhaust duct.
