Abstract: PURPOSE: A plasma processing apparatus and a gas supply member supporting apparatus are provided to execute a plasma process by escaping stress concentration about a supporting member and certainly supplying gas. CONSTITUTION: An outside gas supply member(40) has a gas supply inlet which supplies gas for plasma processing. A jacket part(27) supports the outside gas supply member within a treatment basin. The jacket part comprises three supporting members(44-46) and mounting parts(47-49). The three supporting members are installed in a direction in which a gas supply member is extended in order to connect the outside gas supply member and a sidewall. The mounting part is fixed to the sidewall and mounts the supporting member. A first supporting member is sixed to the mounting part and a second supporting member is fixed to the mounting part in order to be moved.
