Abstract: PURPOSE: A cell management method and a handover method are provided to increase the accuracy of handover generated in a boundary area of a cell by reducing the size of a cell management message including the information of a neighboring base station. CONSTITUTION: A serving base station broadcasts a neighboring base station notification message to a terminal. The neighboring base station notification message includes the information of a sector, in which a terminal is located, and the information of a base station which locates in a boundary area of a cell. A neighboring base station provides cell tier information to the terminal. When a reception signal of the serving base station is maintained during timeout time set as a predetermined value, the terminal handovers data to an adjacent cell. The predetermined value is smaller than a value except for a variable hysteresis margin of handover set from the reception signal of the neighboring base station. Abstract: PURPOSE: A ship sensor network and an effective data merging method are provided to increase the lifetime of a network by reducing the amount of data transmission. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of sensor nodes(1-3) compares a collected average value of a data value with a current data value which is periodically collected. The plurality of the sensor nodes transmits the current data to a cluster head(10) when the current data value is over the average value. The cluster head transmits an average value of a data value transmitted from a plurality of the sensor nodes to a synchronization node(20). Abstract: PURPOSE: An Alamouti STBC applying method for enhancing performance of an offshore wind power radio communication control system is provided to apply a MIMO Alamouti STBC(Space-Time Block Coding) to a radio communication based control system, thereby improving transmission quality and reliability of the control system. CONSTITUTION: An Alamouti STBC applying method comprises the steps of: building multiple antennas using the overlay network technology; applying MIMO Alamouti STBC for optimal communication of the multiple antennas. When a control system operates normally, the control system processes valid data by interworking an up line with nets of odd numbers and a down line with nets of even numbers. When failing in forming a wireless link of the up line to a radio device in the front car of a train or detecting an error, the control system reads data of the radio device in the tail car for processing the data as valid data.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A flow mobility supporting method of a multi-interface terminal in a PMIPv6 environment is provided to successfully transmit packets in which flows are moved to an MN(Mobile Node) by confirming the connection of the multi-interface terminal. CONSTITUTION: When an MAG2(Mobile Access Gateway2) senses the connection of an MN through an IF2(Interface2), the MAG2 transmits a PBU(Proxy Binding Update) message to an LMA(Local Mobility Anchor). The LMA determines the connection of the MN by using an MN recognition interface and by comparing the data of BCE(Binding Cache Entry) with an ML-ID(Identification). When the MN is connected, the LMA shares HNP(Home Network Prefix) between the MAG1 and the MAG2.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A multi-tap optical microwave filter is provided to reduce cost-bearing, to avoid electromagnetic interference, and to improve filter performance by implementing a self-locked RSOA(Reflective Semiconductor Optical Amplifier) by serially connecting an RSOA, being a low cost light source, and multiple FBG(Fiber Bragg Grating)s with different wavelengths, thereby increasing the number of taps from one light source. CONSTITUTION: An optical filter(100) is composed of an RSOA(110), an FBG(120), and a wavelength-dependent light dispersive medium(130). As for the broadband ASE(Amplified Spontaneous Emission) emitted from the RSOA, lights of certain wavelengths are reflected by the FBG and reinserted into the RSOA. There are N numbers of FBGs, and the light dispersive medium causes fixed optical time delays between N-tap optical signals, obtained by the N numbers of FBGs, for the implementation of a filter.
