Abstract:
PURPOSE: An SoQ(Service of Quality) based cooperative communication protocol implementation method is provided to connect an installed system by having compatibility with a WiMedia D-MAC(Distributed-Medium Access Control) standard technology without modifying a specific system. CONSTITUTION: In case it is possible to reserve MAS S-R and MAS R-T for random relay nodes, a reservation host node sets up a reservation reason code of a DRP IE for MAS S-T as relay approval and transmits the reservation reason code to a reservation target node. The reservation host node sets up a reservation detail state code of the DRP IE for MAS S-R as relay request and transmits the reservation detail state code to the relay node. The relay node sets up the reservation detail state code of the DRP IE for MAS R-T as relay notification and transmits the reservation detail code to the reservation target node. In case the reservation detail code of the DRP IE received from the relay node and the reservation target node is relay approval, the reservation host node transmits data through the relay node.

PURPOSE: A distributed advance resource reservation method for blocking data collision in a wireless USB(Universal Storage Bus) network is provided to offer a new private DRP(Distribution and Replication Protocol) reservation method using a two-hop DRP availability IE. CONSTITUTION: A wireless USB host obtains MAR usage availability information from a specific wireless USB device. The wireless USB host collects three-hop range hidden private DRP reservation state information based on the obtained information. The wireless USB host selects a MAS slot which is not overlapped based on the collected reservation state information. The wireless USB host adds a beacon to a DRP IE by transmitting the DRP IE for a wireless USB channel to the wireless USB device.

PURPOSE: A method for communication by using a relay communication protocol for improving QoS performance in a WiMedia Distributed MAC communication system is provided to reserve another indirect link via a relay node besides a direct link in order to maintain QoS resources reserved in a collision target device. CONSTITUTION: A relay request reservation state code is transmitted between two nodes so that a reservation owner node requests a reservation to a relay node. The relay request reservation state code indirectly notifies that there is a DRP reservation request between the relay node and the reservation owner node to a reservation target node. A relay notification reservation state code is used for notifying that data is transmitted to the reservation target node through the relay node. PURPOSE: A PFMIPv6 for the high speed handover of ship communication and an effective interworking method of a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) are provided to rapidly execute handover by utilizing a probe request message as a handover trigger and transceiving information which is necessary for handover. CONSTITUTION: An MN(Mobile Node) transmits a probe request message for searching neighbor APs(Access Point), and a pMAG(previous Mobile Access Gateway) executes buffering for preventing the packet loss of the MN. The pMAG broadcasts an MN-ID, HNP(Home Network Prefix), and LMAA information to neighbor MAG(Mobile Access Gateway). A new MAG stores the broadcasted information in a BUL(Binding Update List).

PURPOSE: A cell management method and a handover method are provided to increase the accuracy of handover generated in a boundary area of a cell by reducing the size of a cell management message including the information of a neighboring base station. CONSTITUTION: A serving base station broadcasts a neighboring base station notification message to a terminal. The neighboring base station notification message includes the information of a sector, in which a terminal is located, and the information of a base station which locates in a boundary area of a cell. A neighboring base station provides cell tier information to the terminal. When a reception signal of the serving base station is maintained during timeout time set as a predetermined value, the terminal handovers data to an adjacent cell. The predetermined value is smaller than a value except for a variable hysteresis margin of handover set from the reception signal of the neighboring base station. PURPOSE: A cooperative communication method for a UWB(Ultra Wide-Band) based D-MAC(Distributed-Medium Access Control) system in a marine environment is provided to increase reception rates by applying an adaptive RNS(Relay Node Selection) cooperative communication technology to UWB link transmission speed. CONSTITUTION: A wireless channel condition change is identified. A relay node selection process is executed according to the change of the identified wireless channel state in order to execute cooperative communication using a UWB technology based a D-MAC standard protocol. A relay DRP(Distributed Reservation Protocol) reservation process is executed for guaranteeing compatibility with the D-MAC standard protocol. A transmission path, which has the minimum delay time by using link feedback information between the WiMedia devices, is selected.

PURPOSE: An adaptable relay communication method for an UWB(Ultra-WideBand) link is provided to improve QoS(Quality of Service) and reception rates by reserving relay resources according to a QoS standard. CONSTITUTION: When a MAS(Medium Access Slot) is able to reserve S-R and MAS R-T, a reservation host node transmits a relay acceptance reservation code for the MAS R-T to a reservation target node, a relay request reservation reason code to a relay node, and a relay notification reservation reason code to the reservation target node. When the relay acceptance reservation code is received from the relay node and the reservation target node, the reservation host node transmits data through the relay node.
