별도의 구동원을 사용하지 않고도 용지적재판을 업/다운 할 수 있고, 용지적재판으로 과도한 힘이 전달되는 이상 상황에서도 부품이 파손되는 것을 방지할 수 있는 화상형성장치를 개시한다. 본 발명의 화상형성장치는 용지적재판과 이 용지적재판을 승강하는 리프팅 부재를 구비하여 상기 본체에 착탈 가능하게 결합되는 급지카세트와, 화상형성장치 본체에 마련된 구동원에서 리프팅 부재로 전달되는 동력을 단속하기 위한 동력단속장치와, 동력단속장치를 통해 전달되는 동력을 적어도 하나의 웜기어를 이용하여 리프팅 부재로 전달하는 동력전달장치를 가진다. 또한 일단이 픽업롤러 조립체에 연동되는 안전레버가 구비될 수 있는데, 안전레버의 타단은 리프팅 부재로 동력이 전달되지 않도록 동력단속장치를 구속하는 제1위치와, 리프팅 부재로 동력이 전달될 수 있도록 동력단속장치로부터 이격되는 제2위치 사이에서 회동한다.

PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus is provided to prevent an adjacent unit of a connection unit by connecting the connection unit and to enter a guide protrusion according to reaching a connection terminal. CONSTITUTION: At least one connection terminal (15a) is protruded toward a connection unit in an installation state of supplies and is contacted with the connection unit. A guide unit (15b) is arranged in the connection unit and prevents the connection terminal from connecting an adjacent unit. A guide groove (30a) is arranged on the other side of the connection unit. The guide groove is inserted to a guide protrusion.

PURPOSE: An auto document feeder and a scanner including the same are provided to prevent damage to a manuscript by a lever by preventing the lever from being lifted when the manuscript which is jammed is drawn by a user. CONSTITUTION: A cover(105) is installed in a body and is rotatable. A sensor(120) is arranged at a manuscript transfer path between a transfer unit and a scanning module and detects the open of the cover and the position of the manuscript. The sensor comprises a lever(121), an interlink member(123), and a sensor(125) sensing the location of a lever. The interlink member is connected in opening and closing of the cover and transfers the lever to downstream and upper stream position.

A fixing device for printing envelopes and an image forming apparatus including the same are provided to minimize generation of rumples by maintaining pressing force for printing envelopes. A support bracket(240) is provided at one side of a pressing roller(220) such that it can be movable in conjunction with the pressing roller(220). A pressing lever(250) presses the support bracket(240) such that the support bracket(240) and the pressing roller(220) move between a maximum pressing position and a pressing release position. The pressing lever includes an intermediate cam profile that presses the support bracket(240) so that the pressing roller(220) to be maintained at an intermediate pressing position between the maximum pressing position and the pressing release position. A cover(230) covers the pressing roller(230) and a heating roller(210). A pressing protrusion(235) is formed at the cover(230) and contacts to be pressed by the intermediate cam profile.

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a metal silicide layer a method for manufacturing a semiconductor device using the same are provided to improve performance of the semiconductor device by including the metal silicide layer which is thermally stable. CONSTITUTION: A metal layer is formed on a substrate. A first pre-metal silicide layer(40) is formed by firstly treating the substrate by heating and reacting the substrate with the metal layer. The metal layer which is not reacted is eliminated. The first pre-metal silicide layer is successively changed into a second pre-metal silicide layer and a metal silicide layer through a second thermal treatment. The atom percentage of metal and silicon of the first pre-metal silicide layer is greater than 1. The atom percentage of metal and silicon of the second pre-metal silicide layer and the metal silicide layer is less than or equal to 1.

An apparatus for supplying a sheet in a printing device is provided to receive power from a motor in the printing device, not a dedicated motor to perform a lifting operation of a knock up plate for supplying a sheet smoothly. A sheet is stacked in a knock up plate(110). The sheet stacked in the knock up plate is picked up and transferred to the inside of a printing device by a pickup roller(130). A lifter(120) lifts up the knock up plate so that the sheet of the knock up plate is contacted with the pickup roller. A spring clutch(150) connects between a motor and the lifter to transfer power. A control lever(160) selectively cuts off power supply passed through a spring clutch.
