본 발명은 플래시 메모리에 최적화된 입출력 제어 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 플래시 메모리의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 플래시 메모리에 최적화된 입출력 제어 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 플래시 메모리에 최적화된 입출력 제어 방법은, 플래시 메모리에 데이터의 랜덤한 기록 연산이 발생하는지 판단하는 단계; 및 상기 랜덤한 기록 연산이 발생하는 것으로 판단되면, 랜덤하게 입력되는 데이터를 상기 플래시 메모리의 기설정된 여분의 영역에 순차적으로 기록하는 단계를 포함한다. 플래시 메모리, 파일 시스템, 랜덤 기록 연산
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A solid state drive device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce average response time by managing a memory controller not to exceed deadline time. CONSTITUTION: An input/output interface part stores an input/output command transmitted from a host(130). A memory controller(120) processes the input/output command. A first and a second input/output context sequentially process the input/output command that is transmitted from the input/output interface part. An input/output scheduler controls the operation of the first and the second input/output context. The input/output scheduler stops the operation of the first input/output context when the execution time of the input/output command exceeds deadline time and transmits the next input/output command to the second input/output context.

PURPOSE: A data storage device and a data storage system including thereof are provided to reduce the number of merge operation by expanding data block of a flash memory. CONSTITUTION: A flash memory(110) comprises plural data blocks. An FTL(Flash Translation Layer)(120) classifies the data blocks into a first and a second group data blocks(111, 113). According to the decision result of the data signal inputted from outside, the FTL records the data signal in the first group data block or the second group data block expanded from the first group data block. The FTL comprises a data determining unit, a state judgment unit, an expansion selecting unit, and a link control unit.
Abstract:
A method for selecting a user ID card and a multi-standby terminal using the same are provided to automatically select the user ID card and send a call according to predetermined calling card setting information. Calling card setting information set to select one among a plurality of user ID cards is searched when a call is originated(S205). The call is originated by selecting the user ID card according to the calling card setting information(S215). A plurality of user identifier cards are a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) or GSM(Global Service for Mobile communication) user ID card.

PURPOSE: A data storing device is provided to effectively combine data having continuous logical address and a discontinuous physical address among data stored in blocks, thereby improving performance of reading and writing data. CONSTITUTION: A least one memory chips includes a plurality of blocks(210) and a control unit(250). At least one memory chip communicates with a host through the same channel. A memory stores an output data of the memory chip. The control unit successively reads data having continuous logical address and discontinuous physical address among data stored in the blocks. To enable the data to have the continuous physical address, the control unit stores the data to the memory.

PURPOSE: A method for driving a data storage device and the data storage device thereof are provided to improve the performance of a data storage device by distributing the plural page of the data storage device based on a non-sequential channel distribution algorithm. CONSTITUTION: Memories are connected to channels(135). A distribution unit(133) performs channel distribution based on a non-sequential channel distribution scheme by considering a logical address inputted from a host and outputs a channel address. A read/write module(131) performs address mapping based on the channel address to record a data signal inputted from the host to a memory connected to a channel designated by the channel address.
