Abstract: PURPOSE: A surface processing method of sliding components for a vehicle is provided to improve anti-scuffing property by splaying solid lubricant solution on the surface of the sliding components. A laser surface micromachining is enabled on the surface of an engine sliding component to form a dimple. Abstract: PURPOSE: A sliding member which can form a dimple for reducing scuffing and rubbing is provided to increase service life of an engine by alternately arranging dimples. CONSTITUTION: A sliding member comprises a metal panel, a first dimple(10) and a second dimple(20). The metal panel is made of a metal material. The first dimples of multiple columns are formed on the metal panel. The second dimples of the multiple columns have a depth deeper than the depth of the first dimple. The diameter of the second dimple and the first dimple is 10~90μm. The depth of the first dimple is 5~20% of the diameter. The depth of the second dimple is 50~150% of the diameter.
