PURPOSE: An anti-scuticociliatic composition containing Polysiphonia morrowii Harvey extract or compounds isolated from the extract is provided to reduce fish death by scuticociliates. CONSTITUTION: An anti-scuticociliatic composition contains Polysiphonia morrowii Harvey extract or compounds isolated from the extract as an active ingredient. The extract is isolated by non-polarity solvent. The non-polarity solvent is selected from the group consisting of MeOH, n-hexane, or CH_2Cl_2.

PURPOSE: A composition containing Rhus verniciflua bark extract or galate derivative isolated from the same are provided to ensure significant anti-scuticociliatida activity. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating scuticociliatida infection of fishes contains Rhus verniciflua bark extract as an active ingredient. The Rhus verniciflua bark extract is isolated using non-polar solvent extract. The non-polar solvent is n-hexane, CHCl3, EtOAc, n-BuOH, or H_2O. A composition for preventing or treating scuticociliatida infection contains Rhus verniciflua bark extract-derived methyl galate of chemical formula 1 or a galate derivative of chemical formula 2 as an active ingredient. The galate derivative is gallic acid, ethyl galate, propyl galate, butyl galate, or isoamyl galate.

PURPOSE: An antibacterial and antiprotozoal composition containing bromophenol-based compounds is provided to suppress and treat Scutica and Edwardsiella tarda. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial and antiprotozoal composition contains 0.001-0.1% bromophenol-based compounds as an active ingredient. The composition additionally contains organic acid and formalin. The composition contains a compound with electron donor functional groups placed at 4th site of a 2-bromophenol structure. The composition is treated in seawater or fresh water.

A method and a system for preventing viral hemorrhagic septicemia of flatfish are provided, which can alarm the increase of the infection risk of the haemorrhagic septicaemia virus. A method for preventing viral hemorrhagic septicemia of flatfish comprises: a step of collecting the respective kidneys from an experimental body-A which inoculates with the Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia Virus and is cultivated in the water at the temperature range except 18-22 deg.C and the experimental body-B which inoculates with the Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia Virus and is cultivated in the water at 18-20 deg.C; a step of analyzing the immunity gene expression profile of the textus renalis collected from the kidney collecting step; and a step for detecting the immunogene from the experimental body-B.
