PURPOSE: A liquid crystal alignment agent is provided to improve transmittance, response rate, liquid crystal alignment, and electro-optical performance and to facilitate the control of a pretilt angle. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal alignment agent comprises polyamic acid which includes a polymer which includes a structure unit represented by chemical formula 1, a polyimide represented by chemical formula 2, and a combination thereof. The weight average molecular weights of the polyamic acid and the polyimide are 10,000-500,000. The liquid crystal alignment agent comprises the polyamic acid and polyimide with a mixing ratio of 1:99-50:50. The liquid crystal alignment agent has a solid phase of 1-25 weight%. A liquid crystal film is manufactured by spreading the liquid crystal alignment agent on a substrate.

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal alignment agent is provided to improve response rate and transmittance, to improve electric performance and to easily control a pretilt angle. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal alignment agent comprises a polyamic acid which comprises a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 1, a polyimide which comprises a repeating unit indicated in chemical formula 2, and a polymer selected from combinations thereof. In chemical formula 1 and 2, each of X^1 and X^2 is independently quadrivalent organic groups derived from alicyclic dianhydride or aromatic dianhydride, and each of Y^1 and Y^2 is a divalent organic group derived from a diamine. The polyamic acid and polyimide has a weight average molecular weight of 10,000-300,000 g/mol.

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal aligning agent, liquid crystal aligning film manufactured by using the same, liquid crystal display device including the liquid crystal aligning film are provided to improve transmittance, response speed, liquid crystal alignment, and electro-optical characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal aligning agent comprises a first polymer and a second polymer. The first polymer comprises polyamic aid including recurring unit which is represented by chemical formula 1, polyimide including recurring unit which is represented by chemical formula 2, or a combination thereof. The second polymer comprises polyamic acid including recurring unit which is represented by chemical formula 4, polyimide including recurring unit which is represented by chemical formula 5, and a combination thereof. In the chemical formula 1 and 2, X1 and X2 are identical or different from each other and are respectively tetravalent organic groups which are driven from cycloaliphatic anhydride or aromatic acid dianhydride. Y1 and Y2 are identical or different from each other and respectively comprise divalent organic group which is driven from diamine represented by chemical formula 3. In the chemical formula 4 and 5, X3 and X4 are identical or different from each other and are respectively tetra organic groups which are driven from cycloaliphatic anhydride or aromatic acid dianhydride. PURPOSE: A liquid crystal photo-alignment agent is provided to obtain excellent printability and liquid crystal photo-alignment and to prevent the degradation of vertical alignment power due to the dropped liquid crystal through a one drop filling mode. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal photo-alignment comprises: a first polymer which is selected from a group comprising polyamic acid of a chemical formula 1 or a polyimide polymer of a chemical formula 2; a polymer including a second polymer of a polyimide photopolymer which is marked as a chemical formula 3; and a functional silane compound which is marked as a chemical formula 4. The functional silane compound is included with an amount of 0.01-10 parts by weight.

A liquid crystal photoaligment agent comprises a polyamic acid copolymer consisting of a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 1 and a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 2; a polyimide copolymer consisting of a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 3 and a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 4; and any one copolymer selected from the group consisting of their combinations.
