PURPOSE: A liquid crystal alignment agent is provided to have excellent orientation safety and excellent texture, by having a liquid crystal-friendly structure. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal alignment agent includes a polymer selected from polyamic acids including a structure unit represented by chemical formula 1, polyimide including a structure unit represented by chemical formula 2, and combinations thereof. In chemical formula 1 and 2, each of X^1 and X^2 is the same as or different from each other, and is independently quadrivalent organic group derived from acid dianhydrides; each of Y^1 and Y^2 is the same as or different from each other, and is independently a divalent organic group derived from diamine.

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal alignment agent, a liquid crystal display device including the liquid crystal alignment film and a liquid crystal alignment film manufactured by using the same are provided to maintain excellent vertical alignment force. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal alignment agent comprises polymer. The polymer is selected from a group consisting of polyamic acid including a structural unit represented by chemical formula 1, polyimide including a structure unit represented by chemical formula 2, and a combination thereof. In the chemical formula 1 and 2, X^1 and X^2 respectively indicate a tetravalent organic group derived from aromatic acid dianhydride and alicyclic acid dianhydride, and Y^1 and Y^2 respectively indicate divalent organic radical derived from diamine. The diamine comprises diamine represented by chemical formula 3 and 4.

CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal alignment comprises 55-99.9 wt% of a first polymer of which weight average molecular weight of 100,000-500,000 g/mol; 0.1-45 wt% of a second polymer of which weight average molecular weight is 5,000-50,000 g/mol. The first and second polymers are respectively includes polyamic acids including a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 1 and polyimides including a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 2. In the chemical formulas, each of X^1 and X^2 a tetravalent organic group derived from aliphatic anhydride or aromatic anhydride.
