Abstract: PURPOSE: A liquid crystal alignment agent is provided to be stable to change of process condition, and to have excellent printability and chemical resistance. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal alignment comprises 55-99.9 wt% of a first polymer of which weight average molecular weight of 100,000-500,000 g/mol; 0.1-45 wt% of a second polymer of which weight average molecular weight is 5,000-50,000 g/mol. The first and second polymers are respectively includes polyamic acids including a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 1 and polyimides including a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 2. In the chemical formulas, each of X^1 and X^2 a tetravalent organic group derived from aliphatic anhydride or aromatic anhydride. Each of Y^1 and Y^2 is a divalent organic group derived from diamines.
