    Abstract: PURPOSE: A damper flywheel is provided to prevent the transferring of the impact due to the rotation moment of a slip portion to a transmission in case of excessive rotation moment is generated in an engine. CONSTITUTION: A damper flywheel comprises a primary wheel(200), a secondary wheel(300), a damping unit(400), and a drive plate(500). The primary wheel is connected with the crank shaft of a vehicle engine. The secondary wheel is installed in the primary wheel to be relatively rotated and a clutch shaft of a vehicle transmission. The damping unit reduces the mutual rotary vibration through being installed between the primary wheel and the secondary wheel. The drive plate comprises a main plate(510), an auxiliary plate, and a slip portion. The main plate comprises a projection(511) supporting the damping unit. The slip portion generates the slip of the main plate in case of the excessive rotation moment generation in an engine.

CONSTITUTION: A dual mass flywheel comprises a fist mass(1), a drive plate(3), flanges(4,5) and a torsion spring(6). The first mass is coupled to the engine output shaft of a vehicle. The drive plate is connected to a second mass(2), which is connected to the input shaft of a transmission, and is held in the first mass. The flanges are extended from the drive plate. The torsion spring makes contact with the flanges. The torsion spring is compressed by the relative rotation of the first and second masses. A pitch changes, and thus a spring constant changes.

    Abstract: A dual mass flywheel for providing a viscous damping apparatus is provided to improve the durability of the product having the dual mass flywheel by effectively damping vibration of various magnitudes so as to reduce peak torque.
