Abstract: A process for producing human insulin in a tobacco tissue comprises: (a) inserting human proinsulin gene into the vector pBKS-1 to obtain the recombinant plasmid DNA; (b) inducing and transforming it into the Agrobacterium tumefaciens LBA 4404 (I), and separating the transformed (I); (c) adding the transformed (I) into the tobacco leaves callus and culturing at 25 deg.C for 1- 2days in the dark place; (d) washing it with MS medium and culturing in the selective medium contg. kanamycin and carbenicillin; (e) culturing it to obtain the tobacco tissue KCTC 84876P, producing human insulin.

Abstract: The preparing method of plant cell producing interlukin-6 (IL-6) protein includes the steps of : (a) inserting IL-6 gene to gene transporter of converting a character of higer plants; (b) introducing recompounded DNA to agrobacterium tumefaciens; (c)selecting agrobacterium tumefaciens containing IL-6 gene; (d) infecting plants with the tumefaciens. The plant is nicotina tibacum W38 (KCTC0046BP), tobacco cell. And the recompouded DNA is pBSK-1/IL-6.

Abstract: A gene for coding ice nucleating protein is prepd. by culturing Pseudomonas syringae AL, KCTC 1832, separating its chromosomal DNA, treating with restriction enzyme Bgl II/EcoRI, applicating in agarose gel electrophoresis, moving nytran membrane, hybridizing with 32P-oligonucleotide, 5'- CCGTAACCGGCGGTCAACGTGC3' to obtain the selected DNA fragment, inserting into the Bam HI/EcoRI site of vector pBR 322 to obtain the recombinant DNA, amplifying in E. coli, separating the plasmid DNA, treating with Bgl II/ EcoRI to obtain the ice nucleus activating gene clone pGINP-1, inserting to the E. coli KCTC 8475 (I). The (I) is useful for prevention of freezing and/or frost damage of frozen food prodn. and preservation.
