    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a biosensor using a high density carbon nanotube(CNT) pattern is provided, thereby improving stability of the biosensor by environment changes. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a high density carbon nanotube pattern comprises the steps of: (a) reacting a substrate in which amino groups are exposed on the surface with CNT in which carboxyl groups are exposed on the surface to form amine bonds between the amino groups and carboxyl groups, thereby forming a CNT monolayer on the surface of the substrate; (b) reacting the CNT monolayer with diamine organic compounds to form an organic amine layer on the CNT monolayer, and reacting the organic amine with carboxyl group exposed CNT to accumulate CNT; and (c) repeating the step (b) n times to reciprocally accumulate the CNT layer and organic amine layer n times, thereby forming the carboxyl group exposed high density CNT pattern. The CNT biosensor is prepared by chemically or physicochemically binding a bioreceptor with a chemical function group to the carboxyl group exposed high density CNT pattern which is fixed on the substrate with high density, wherein the bioreceptor is enzyme substrate, ligand, amino acid, peptide, protein, nucleic acid, lipid, cofactor or carbohydrate.

    Abstract: A method for fabricating a field emitter electrode including carbon nano tubes vertically aligned is provided to improve an effect of electric field emission by using carbon nano tubes. A solution of carbon nano tubes or magnetic particle-bound carbon nano tubes which is diluted in an organic solvent is dispersed on a substrate fixed to an upper part of a magnetic field generator. The carbon nano tubes are aligned in a magnetic field generated from the magnetic field generator in a direction of the magnetic field by evaporating the organic solvent from the solution dispersed on the substrate. A metal is deposited on the substrate so that the carbon nano tubes are vertically aligned even in magnetic field-free conditions.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A carbon nanotube(CNT) film having high density and a method for producing a biochip using the same are provided to reduce unnecessary signals as compared to the conventional biochips, in genotyping, mutation detection, pathogen identification and the like. CONSTITUTION: The carbon nanotube film having high density, which has exposed carboxylic groups on the surface, is produced by: (a) reacting a CNT having exposed carboxylic groups with a substrate where amine groups are exposed, to form a CNT monolayer on the surface of the substrate through amide bonds between amine groups and carboxylic groups; (b) reacting the CNT monolayer with diamine organic compounds to form a layer of organic amines on the CNT monolayer, and then reacting the CNT having exposed carboxylic groups with the organic amine to layer the CNT; and (c) repeating the above step (b) n times, so as to form high density CNT film having exposed carboxylic groups with alternately layered CNT and organic amine as much as the number of n. The method for producing a biochip using the CNT film comprises the steps of fixing a bioreceptor having a functional group, which can bond with the exposed carboxylic groups chemically or physicochemically, wherein the bioreceptor is enzyme substrates, ligands, amino acids, peptides, proteins, nucleic acids, lipids or carbohydrates.
