    Abstract: An air resistance reduction system using high-frequency alternating current cable is disclosed. The air resistance reduction system comprises a high-frequency alternating cable arranged with a spiral form on a surface of a running body and a power supply unit arranged therein to apply power to the high frequency alternating current cable, wherein the power supply unit discharges electricity or generates plasma. The high-frequency alternating current cable includes multiple element wires connected to the power supply unit in parallel, wherein the element wires have multiple cut parts in a longitudinal direction. The air resistance reduction system is provided to use plasma, which is generated by the power supply unit, to reduce air resistance affecting a running railroad car by blowing air which sticks to a surface of a railroad car and to move turbulence, which affects the railroad car as an air resistant factor, in a fixed direction, thereby doubling the effect of reducing air resistance.
