Abstract: The present invention relates to a secondary air injection system and, more particularly, to a secondary air injection system which supplies part of air entering a suction manifold to an exhaust manifold. Provided is the secondary air injection system which comprises an electric super charger which compresses air entering through an air duct; a throttle valve which is installed at the front end of an suction manifold, and controls the amount of air entering the suction manifold by regulating the amount of air passing the electric super charger; a secondary air valve which is installed in a diverged flow path from a suction line connecting the electric super charger and the throttle valve; and an injector which performs post combustion such that secondary air passing the secondary air valve can post-combust the exhaust gas discharged from an engine by being supplied to a runner of an exhaust manifold.

CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for improving starting performance and detecting low volatile fuel by leaning ignition timing comprises a knock sensor(10), an engine control unit(20), and a standard value storing unit(30). The knock sensor senses knocking in an engine. The engine control unit controls the operation of the engine on the basis of information generated from the knock sensor. The standard value storing unit stores standard data to determine whether or not fuel is low volatile fuel on the basis of a learning value.
