Abstract: PURPOSE: A car exhaust system is provided to prevent exhaust gas from flowing into a car by diffusing the exhaust gas into an exposed space in between a tail trim and a tail pipe during high-speed travelling of the car. CONSTITUTION: A car exhaust system comprises a tail trim(10), a tail pipe(30), a shielding member(50), and a flap member(70). The tail trim is installed on the rear bumper of a car. The tail pipe is connected to a muffler(1). The discharge end of exhaust gas is inserted into the tail trim. The shielding plate is installed on the tail pipe, blocks an exposed space in between the tail pipe and the tail trim, and comprises a flow hole(51). The flap member is installed on the shielding plate and opens or closes the flow hole by air resistance.
