CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for reducing harmful substances in exhaust gas comprises a diesel particulate filter(10), a muffler(20), and a processing path(30). The diesel particulate filter collects diesel particulate filters contained in exhaust gas. The muffler reduces noise generated during the discharge of the exhaust gas. The processing path is installed between the diesel particulate filter and the muffler, and liquefies the harmful substances generated during the re-generation of the diesel particulate filter. A plurality of cooling plates(31) which liquefy the harmful substances is installed in the processing path. The cooling plates are filled with coolant.
