Abstract:
PURPOSE: An exhaust gas purification device and an exhaust system with the same are provided to prevent thermal deterioration in selective catalytic reduction by lowering regeneration temperature for a soot filter. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas purification device comprises an exhaust pipe(20), a soot filter(50), and a first injector(60). The exhaust pipe is connected to an engine, and exhaust gas generated from the engine flows into the exhaust pipe. The soot filter is mounted on the exhaust pipe, and selective catalytic reduction is coated on the soot filter to collect particulate matters contained in the exhaust gas. The first injector injects a reducing agent to the exhaust gas. The reducing agent contains oxygen-storage materials. The reducing agent is urea or ammonia. The oxygen-storage materials are cerium or iron.

PURPOSE: A method for the estimating amount of NOX(Nitrogen Oxide) stored in a denitrification catalyst and an exhaust device using the same are provided to improve the fuel efficiency by controlling spraying amount of a reducing agent and a regeneration time. CONSTITUTION: A method for the estimating amount of NOX stored in a denitrification catalyst(40) is as follows. A mass flow of the NOx stored in a denitrification catalyst is calculated. The mass flow of the NOx thermally attached and detached from the denitrification catalyst is calculated. The mass flow of the NOx chemically attached and detached from the denitrification catalyst is calculated. The true amount of the NOx stored in the denitrification catalyst is calculated using the mass flow of thermally desorbed NOx and the mass flow of chemically desorbed NOx.

PURPOSE: An exhaust system is provided to rapidly normalize purification efficiency of catalyst by rapid heating under fixed operation conditions when degradation degree of nitric oxide purification catalyst or fuel catalyst is higher than a fixed level. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust system comprises an exhaust line(150), a nitric oxide purification catalyst(160), an injector(120), and a controller(110). The exhaust gas exhausted from an engine passes through an exhaust line. The nitric oxide purification catalyst is placed in the exhaust line and reduces nitric oxide included in the exhaust gas. The injector is installed at the front-end of the nitric oxide purification catalyst. The injector additionally sprays fuel for the production of reducing agent. The injector removes nitric oxide stored in the nitric oxide purification catalyst. The controller controls the engine to additionally spray fuel under a fixed operation condition when the nitric oxide purification catalyst is deteriorated. The controller performs rapid heating up to increase the temperature of the nitric oxide purification catalyst.
