Abstract: 본 발명은 이종 강도를 갖는 브레이크 캘리퍼 하우징 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 적어도 하나 이상의 브레이크 캘리퍼 하우징의 캐비티로 이루어지는 주형에 용탕을 주입한 후, 냉각하여 좌우 대칭적인 물성이 구현된 브레이크 캘리퍼 하우징을 주조하되, 상기 캐비티의 외면에 냉금을 설치함으로써, 냉각 시 상기 냉금이 설치된 부위의 용탕 냉각속도를 상대적으로 높여서 강도를 선택적으로 향상시킴으로써, 제조된 브레이크 캘리퍼 하우징의 왼쪽 부분과 오른쪽 부분의 영률 편차가 5% 이내인 좌우 대칭적인 미세구조 및 물성을 가질 수 있으며, 응력이 집중되는 부분인 접점부의 펄라이트 분율이 높아 브레이크 작동 시 브레이크 캘리퍼 하우징의 진동 및 소음 등을 저감시켜, NVH 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 브레이크 캘리퍼 하우징 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.

CONSTITUTION: A brake disk comprises a friction part(100), a hat part(300), and a plurality of fastening units(500). The friction part comprises a connection hole, a connection unit, and a plurality of fastening holes. The connection unit is formed on a predetermined thickness along an inner surface of the connection hole, and the fastening holes are separated along the circumference of the connection unit. The lower part of the hat part is inserted into the connection hole, and the hat part is matched with the connection unit of the friction part by including a connection flange(320) in the lower part. The connection flange comprises a second connection hole(322) connected to a first connection hole. The fastening units horizontally penetrate the first and second connection hole and connect the friction part and the hat part.
