Abstract: PURPOSE: An accelerator position sensor is provided to reduce the load of an electronic control unit(ECU) since sensor tolerance is decreased by programming with ASIC chip. CONSTITUTION: An accelerator position sensor comprises a transmission coil(101), a receiving coil(103), a coupler, and a signal processing unit. The transmission coil is connected to an oscillator to generate magnetic field. The receiving coil receives the magnetic field generated from the transmission coil. The receiving coil generates alternating frequency. The coupler is located between the transmission coil and the receiving coil. The coupler controls the magnetic field generated from the transmission coil. The signal processing unit is connected to the receiving coil. The signal processing unit calculates the rotation information of the coupler using the alternating frequency obtained from the receiving coil and outputs the displacement value of an accelerator pedal.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A noise reducing structure for a high-pressure fuel pump of a GDI(Gasoline Direct Injection) engine is provided to reduce noise by reducing impulsive shock between the other end of a valve needle and the center through hole of a stop disc as fuel remaining at the outer side of an anchor flows through fine holes of a valve disc. CONSTITUTION: A noise reducing structure for a high-pressure fuel pump of a GDI engine comprises a pole core(30), an anchor(40), a washer(60), a compression spring(50), a valve needle(20), and a valve disc(70). The anchor is in contact with or separated from the pole core according to the magnetizing force of the pole core. Fuel flows to the outer side of a needle combining hole through a plurality of fine through-holes. The compression spring pushes the anchor to the opposite side when the magnetizing force of the pole core is released. Both ends of the valve needle are fitted into the needle combining hole and the stop disc and integrally connected to the washer and the anchor. The valve needle moves side by side by the magnetizing force of the pole core and the compression spring. The valve disc reduces impulsive noise from the anchor and the valve needle by controlling the inflow and outflow amount of fuel.
