Abstract: PURPOSE: A parking control device of an automatic transmission and a method thereof are provided to improve reliability and convenience in a driving state of a vehicle by controlling a releasing state and a maintaining state of a parking operation using an actuator to be operated by a parking switch. CONSTITUTION: A shift gear detection unit(11) detects a position of a shift lever. A parking detection unit(12) detects the selection of the parking switch. An actuator(14) is connected through a wire to one of a parking pawl lever. A control unit(13) controls the actuator by recognizing a releasing state of the parking switch in an off state of an engine. The control unit controls a starting state and a releasing state in a parking process.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for detecting rough-road and a method for controlling a transmission according to the same are provided to improve the durability of the transmission by preventing the generation of a slip and an abrasion between a belt and a pulley. CONSTITUTION: While a vehicle is driven on a rough-road, torque from the engine is limited based on the method for controlling a continuously variable transmission(S40). The continuously variable transmission includes a belt, a driving pulley, and a driven pulley. A clutch interrupts the power of the engine. The continuously variable transmission and the clutch are slip-controlled(S50). The transferrable torques of the pulleys are increased, an abrasion and a slip of the belt and the pulleys are prevented(S60).

Abstract: A method for controlling slip prevention after a neutral-to-drive gear shift of an automatic transmission upon generation of sudden acceleration is provided to improve an acceleration retard by using a compensation map. An electronic control device receives a vehicle speed signal from a vehicle speed sensor and, simultaneously, a PG signal from a pulse generator to calculate a first stage measurement gear ratio. After calculating the first stage measurement gear ratio, the electronic control device calculates a difference between the first stage measurement gear ratio and a first stage calculation gear ratio.
