Abstract: PURPOSE: A front bumper beam for vehicles is provided to guarantee passenger's safety by improving the absorption of initial impact energy due to widened impact area in a head-on collision. CONSTITUTION: A front bumper beam(1) comprises top and bottom beam bodies(20,30). The top beam body is composed of a vertical plane(11), a bottom plane(12), a front plane(13), a top plane(14), a rear plane(15), a connecting plane(16), and a bent plane(17). The bottom plane is bent from the bottom end of the vertical plane to the front. The front and rear planes are respectively bent upward and downward from the front and rear ends of the bottom plane. The top plane is bent from the top end of the front plane to the rear. The bent plane is bent downward from the front end of the connecting plane. The configuration of the bottom beam body is the same as the top beam body. The top and bottom beam bodies are composed of steel materials and each casted as a single body.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A sub frame for a vehicle is provided to disperse the load applied in the forth direction of the running vehicle and to improve itself rigidity by fixing a car body with connected to a lower arm using a mounting part. CONSTITUTION: A sub frame for a vehicle comprises a first lower arm mounting part, a mounting part(110) and a second lower arm mounting part(113). The sub frame for a vehicle additionally comprises a chassis mounting part(111) and a frame mounting part(115). The first lower arm mounting part has the front upper side connected with a car body on the lower part of the car body. The first lower arm mounting part is connected with the front back side and is formed in order to be connected to one end of the lower arm. The mounting part fixes the car body with connected with the other end of the lower arm. The second lower arm mounting part is formed in cylindrical shape and is connected to the other end of the lower arm. The chassis mounting part is integrally formed in one side of the outer circumference of the second lower arm mounting part. The chassis mounting part is connected to the car body. The frame mounted part is integrally formed in the other side of circumferential surface of the second lower arm mounting part corresponding to the chassis mounting part. The frame mounted part is installed on the rear side of a sub frame.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Installation structure of a radiator for a vehicle is provided to prevent vibration and noise of the radiator by increasing the rigidity of a supporting member and by enlarging the welding portion. CONSTITUTION: A radiator is installed with a supporting member fixed in four points of upper and lower members(2) by spot welding. The supporting member is composed of a fixing part(3a) fastened in the radiator lower member by welding, a settling part(3b) bent perpendicularly in the fixing part to place and fix the radiator, and welded into a settling end(2a) of the radiator lower member, and a rib(3c) surrounding the fixing part and the settling part. The radiator is supported with fixing the supporting member doubly to prevent bouncing of the supporting member. The rigidity is improved, and deformation is prevented with covering the fixing part and the settling part by the rib at the side. Noise and vibration are reduced with welding doubly.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a titanium suboxide support for a catalyst electrode for a fuel cell and to a low-temperature synthesis method of the titanium suboxide support. More specifically, the present invention relates to titanium suboxide (Ti_xO_2x-1) nanoparticles which are useful as a support for a catalyst electrode for a fuel cell; and to a method for synthesizing the titanium suboxide (Ti_xO_2x-1) nanoparticles at a low temperature of 600-900°C by using TiO_2, a Co catalyst and hydrogen gas. The titanium suboxide nanoparticles have the advantage of having excellent corrosion resistance to acid, high thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity, and excellent durability. Therefore, the catalyst electrode manufactured by using the titanium suboxide nanoparticles as a support shows high catalytic activity and enhanced oxidation-reduction properties through a fuel cell test.
