The present invention comprises the steps of determining whether an operation of an EV mode is requested to be switched to an HEV mode; determining the reference speed by applying the driving inertia of the vehicle and the inertia of the engine and a motor if the switching of the HEV mode is requested; determining the target speed for controlling the reference speed; and calculating a transmission torque of the engine clutch and controlling the pressure of the fluid to connect the engine clutch if the transmission torque of the engine clutch is included in a set area.
