    Abstract: PURPOSE: A transparent paint is provided to improve productivity of a vehicle by preventing generation of microscratches. CONSTITUTION: A paint with excellent scratch resistance comprises 20-30 wt% of a polyester resin, 10-30 wt% of an acrylic resin, 5-20 wt% of a polyurethane resin, 0.1-1.5 wt% of a reaction catalyst, 0.1-1.0 wt% of a moisturizing additive, 1.0-1.5 wt% of a photostabilizer, and 10-40 wt% of a solvent. The weight average molecular weight(Mw) of the polyester resin is 2,000-7,000. The hydroxyl group content is 5-10%. The weight average molecular weight of the acryl resin is 6,000-15,000. The oxygen value is 3-10 mg/KOH. The content of the hydroxy group is 1-5 % and the glass transition temperature is 40-50 °C.
