    Abstract: Presently described are components of a spray application system. At least one component comprises a liquid repellent surface layer. The liquid repellent surface (e.g. layer) comprises a siloxane material. The component is typically a liquid reservoir, a liquid reservoir liner, a lid for a liquid reservoir or liner, or a combination thereof. In some embodiments, the component comprises a thermoplastic polymeric material. In some favored embodiments, the component is a removable liquid reservoir or liner. In some favored embodiments, the component is a collapsible liquid reservoir or liner. The spray application system typically further comprises a gravity-fed spray gun. Also described are spray application systems, methods of using a spray application system, as well as methods of making a component of a spray application system wherein the component has a liquid repellent surface.

    Abstract: An optical construction includes a reflective polarizer and an optical film. The optical film includes a matrix and a plurality of first particles dispersed in the matrix. Each of the matrix and the plurality of first particles includes a silicone polyoxamide and an acrylate polymer. For substantially normally incident light and for at least a first wavelength in a first wavelength range, the reflective polarizer reflects about 60% for a first polarization state and transmits about 40% for an orthogonal second polarization state. For at least a second wavelength in a second wavelength range, each of the reflective polarizer and the optical film transmits about 60% of an incident light for each of the first and second polarization states. For at least the first wavelength, optical film has an optical haze and a depolarization ratio. A ratio of the depolarization ratio to the optical haze is less than 0.1.

    Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to adhesive compositions and articles including at least one of polydiorganosiloxane polyoxamide copolymer, silicone polyurea block copolymer, and/or an addition cure silicone, a silicate tackifying resin, and inorganic particle filler. The filler is typically fumed silica. Some embodiments of the adhesive composition include at least one of a polydiorganosiloxane polyoxamide copolymer, a silicate tackifying resin in an amount of between about 10 wt% and about 70 wt%, and inorganic particle filler in between about 0.1 wt% and about 20 wt%; a silicone polyurea block copolymer, a silicate tackifying resin in an amount of between about 10 wt% and about 70 wt%, and inorganic particle filler in an amount between about 0.1 wt% and about 20 wt%; and an addition cure silicone, a silicate tackifying resin in an amount of between about 10 wt% and about 70 wt%, and inorganic particle filler in an amount between about 0.1 wt% and about 20 wt%.

    Abstract: Presently described are components of a spray application system, a method of making thereof, wherein at least one component comprises a liquid repellent surface layer such that the receding contact angle with water ranged from 90 degrees to 135 degrees.
