At least one operating element is provided as an emergency switch (8a) and at least one other operating element is provided especially for activating drive circuits and/or for switching operating modes, and/or the operating device (1) is ergonomically designed in such a way that the operating device (1) and the operating elements can be handled and operated using only one hand.

The invention relates to a system for the automated adaptation of process parameters of at least one handling device (11) that cooperates with at least one control/regulation device (50), particularly with a safety control (51), for monitoring and/or controlling and/or regulating the at least one handling device (11), wherein at least one monitoring device (60) is provided that selectively monitors at least one process parameter and/or adapts at least one process parameter of the at least one handling device (11) in an automated fashion as needed and/or in a requirement-dependent fashion and/or in an environmentally dependent fashion and/or in a rule-based fashion in conjunction with the at least one control/regulation device (50), wherein environmentally specific and/or safety-specific requirements and/or regulations are followed and/or implemented even independently of the type of respective working process. The invention further relates to a corresponding method to be executed on the abovementioned system and a process control with a control/regulation device (50) and safety control (51) for monitoring and/or controlling and/or regulating at least one handling device (11) with a system for the automated adaptation of process parameters of at least one handling device (11).

The invention relates to a method for securing a handling device, comprising a monitoring process of a displacement device of a displaced component of the handing device (1), comprising the following steps determining a displacement vector (4) representing the current displacement direction of the component displaced, the vector having a certain direction, and comparing the direction of the displacement vector (4) to a direction of a reference vector (6) for determining a deviation (8), wherein a safety-relevant function is triggered if the deviation (8) is within a defined range.
