Abstract: The use of amidoximes for stabilisation of ethylenically-unsaturated compounds against undesired radical polymerisation is disclosed. Combinations of amidoximes with phenol and/or phenothiazine compounds have a synergistic effect. Preferred amidoximes are nitrilotris(acetamidoxime) and nitrilotris(propionamidoxime).
