    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a highly active catalyst which does not produce a large amount of solid content and requires a simple catalytic process by causing a chemical reaction between an aqueous metallic salt solution and an aqueous cyanomethallic acid solution, both of which are expressed by specific formulae respectively. SOLUTION: An aqueous water-soluble metallic salt solution is expressed by formula I in which M1 is the metallic ion of either of Zn , Fe , CO or Ni2+ , X is the anion of halide or hydroxide and m, n are integers corresponding to the atomic values of M1 and X. An aqueous cyanometallic acid solution is expressed by formula II in which M2 in the metallic ion of either of Fe2+ , Fe3+ , CO , Cr3+ , Rh3+ , Ni or CO , H is hydrogen, A is the anion of halide or hydroxide, and a, b, c are the integers selected so that cyanide is electrically neutralized. These aqueous solutions are caused to chemically react with each other, and further, the reaction product is caused to undergo a chemical reaction with a ligand which can be mixed with water, if necessary and contains a heteroatom. Thus a polymetallic cyanide complex produced consequently is separated from the suspension.

    Abstract: En un proceso para producir espumas de poliuretano flexibles haciendo reaccionar a) poliisocianatos orgánicos y/o orgánicos modificados con b) compuestos de peso molecular relativamente elevado que contienen por lo menos dos átomos de hidrogeno reactivos, y c) si se desea extendedores de cadena de peso molecular bajo y/o reticulantes, en la presencia de d) agentes de soplado, e) catalizadores, f) retardadores de flama, y si se desea g) auxiliares adicionales y/o aditivos; los compuestos de peso molecular relativamente elevado que contienen por lo menos dos átomos de hidrogeno reactivos (b) comprenden por lo menos 10% en peso de polioles de poliéter, los cuales pueden prepararse mediante reaccion de base catalizada de oxidos de etileno inferiores con substancias iniciadoras OH-funcionales y se someten, durante o después de la adicion molecular de oxido de etileno, a un tratamiento térmico/de destilacion combinados en un contenido de agua de cuando más 0.1% en peso. la espuma de PUR flexible producida de conformidad con la presente invencion puede usarse en sectores de automoviles y de muebles y para producir composiciones de espuma/textiles flexibles.

    Abstract: Process for preparing polyether polyols having an end block of ethylene oxide by addition of alkylene oxides onto H-functional starter substances, in which A) a polyether polyol precursor is prepared by means of double metal cyanide (DMC) catalysis in a semicontinuous mode of operation in which previously prepared polyether polyol together with the DMC catalyst are placed in a reactor and H-functional starter substance and propylene oxide are added continuously, B) the polyether polyol precursor from stage A) is reacted with propylene oxide or an ethylene oxide/propylene oxide mixture in the presence of the DMC catalyst in a continuously operating reactor to give a polyether polyol intermediate, C) the intermediate from stage B) is mixed with an alkali metal hydroxide as catalyst and D) reacted with ethylene oxide in a continuously operating reactor to give the final product, E) the catalyst is separated off from the final product obtained in stage D).
