Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinel monolithic catalyst, manufacturing method therefor and a method of using it for reducing NOx in a waste combustion gas. SOLUTION: This spinel monolighic catalyst contains the spinel shown by general formula I: AxB(1-x)E2O4 (wherein all of A are Cu or half of A or less may be substituted with Co, Fe, Mn or Cr; B is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Zn, Mg, Ca, Zr, Ce, Sn, Ti, V, Mo and W; all of E are Al or half of E or less may be substituted with Fe2O3, Cr2O3, Ga2O3, La2O3 or a mixture of them; and (x) is 0-1, preferably 0-0.9). The spinel monolighic catalyst is obtained by manufacturing a particularly monolithic sintered compact by using the spinel or subsequently covering at least the surface of the sintered compact with an active composition, impregnating the obtained sintered compact with the solution containing transition elements of group V of the periodic table or adding the oxides or salts of these elements to the obtained sintered compact, drying and sintering it.

Abstract: Pri zpusobu prípravy spinelových extrudátu se extruduje tvarovací kompozice obsahující spinelový prášek s pomocnými extrudovacími prísadami nebo bez nich, se stabilizátory, s prostredky snižujícími smrštení, s látkami pro vytvárení póru, nebo s jejich smesmi, nacež následuje sušení a kalcinace techto extrudátu. Tvarovací kompozice dále obsahuje oxidy hliníku nebo hydráty oxidu hliníku a dusicnanykovu, pricemž tyto dusicnany kovu poskytují acidickou reakci ve vodném roztoku. Výhodne se tato tvarovací kompozice extruduje na voštinové struktury.Voštinové struktury jsou pripravitelné tímto zpusobem, pricemž se získané extrudáty dále suší a kalcinují. Použití voštinové struktury je jako katalyzátoru nebo nosice katalyzátoru pro katalytické cištení výfukových plynu obsahujících oxidy dusíku apro katalytické cištení vypouštených plynu.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for hydrogenating an organic compound which has at least one carbonyl group. According to said method, the organic compound is brought into contact with a shaped body in the presence of hydrogen, said shaped body being produced according to a method in which: (i) an oxidic material containing copper oxide, zinc oxide and aluminium oxide is prepared; (ii) powder-form metallic copper or powder-form cement or a mixture thereof is added to said oxidic material; and (iii) the mixture resulting from (ii) is moulded into a shaped body.

Abstract: Spinel extrudates are produced using a molding composition containing aluminum oxides, aluminum oxide hydrates and metal nitrates. Spinel extrudates are produced by extruding molding composition containing spinel powder and optionally extruding auxiliary aid, stabilizer, shrinkage reducer, and/or pore former. An Independent claim is also included for a honeycomb body obtained by drying the extrudates at 10-200o C, or by freeze drying -40-0o C under a pressure of 0.05-0.8 bar and calcining at 500-900o C.
