Abstract: La presente invencion se refiere a un metodo para separa una mezcla de aldehido crudo liquida por destilacion. La mezcla contiene aldehidos no ramificados y ramificados. En una primera columna de destilacion, la mezcla de producto se separa en un primer flujo de producto de aldehido ramificado, un flujo de producto de aldehido no ramificado y un flujo de producto adicional que contiene aldehido no ramificado y los componentes de alto punto de ebullicion. En una segunda columna de destilacion cuyo flujo de producto es mas pequeno por un factor de 50 a 200 que el flujo de producto de la primera columna de destilacion. El flujo de producto destilado entonces se separa en un flujo de producto de aldehido no ramificado y un flujo de producto de alto punto de ebullicion.

Abstract: A liquid output from a continuous hydroformylation, which comprises essentially aldehydes, high-boiling by-products, a homogeneously dissolved hydroformylation catalyst, unreacted olefins, low-boiling by-products and dissolved synthesis gas, is worked up by a process in which a) the liquid hydroformylation output is depressurized in a first depressurization stage to a pressure which is from 2 to 20 bar below the reactor pressure, resulting in separation into a liquid phase and a gas phase, and b) the liquid phase obtained in the first depressurization stage is depressurized in a second depressurization stage to a pressure which is lower than the pressure of the first depressurization stage, resulting in separation into a liquid phase comprising essentially high-boiling by-products of the hydroformylation, the homogeneously dissolved hydroformylation catalyst and small amounts of hydroformylation product and unreacted olefin and a gas phase comprising essentially the major part of the hydroformylation product, unreacted olefin and low-boiling by-products.

Abstract: In the hydroformylation of 2-8 carbon (C) olefins (I), (a) a hydrocarbon charge is subjected to thermal and/or catalytic cracking and/or dehydrogenation; (b) the cracked gas containing olefin or a fraction is separated into streams with higher and lower (I) contents; and (c) the (I)-enriched stream, carbon monoxide and hydrogen are reacted in the presence of hydroformylation catalyst. Unreacted (I) and saturated 2-8 C hydrocarbon are separated and recycled to (b). In the production of hydroformylation products from 2-8 carbon (C) olefins (I), (a) a hydrocarbon charge is fed into a cracking/dehydrogenation zone and subjected to thermal and/or catalytic cracking and/or dehydrogenation, giving a cracked gas containing olefin; (b) the cracked gas or a fraction is separated into streams with higher and lower (I) contents; (c) the (I)-enriched stream, carbon monoxide and hydrogen are fed into a hydroformylation zone and reacted in the presence of a hydroformylation catalyst; and (d) a stream of unreacted (I) and saturated 2-8 C hydrocarbon is separated from the product stream and recycled to stage (b).
