    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe dynamic interface development by generating droplet flow containing a first liquid phase, moving the droplets in a specified track, and measuring the coverage of the interface coated with at least one of molecular species at a plurality of points in the track in non-contact manner. SOLUTION: A dropletor 1 generates and releases uniform droplets 2 at regular intervals. The liquid drops 2 move along a droplet trajectory shown by an arrow 3. A laser 4 radiates laser beam to the droplets in the track through a semisilvered mirror 5 and a lens 6. The light rays reflected by the droplets 2, especially the surface of the molecules, enter a detector 7 through the lens 6 and the semi-transparent mirror 5. The detector 7 enables the droplets to move in the track in the direction shown by an arrow 8 to observe the droplets 2 having the coverage in different generation steps. The detection signals are analyzed by an analysis unit. By this method, the interfacial adsorption of a substance can quickly and continuously be measured in non-contact manner.

SOLUTION: As a method for crosslinking a radiation crosslinkable pressure- sensitive contact film by exposing the radiation crosslinkable pressure-sensitive contact film to actinic rays of a regulated dose, the film surface is exposed to a regular or irregular radiation pattern formed of regions of different strengths to crosslink the pressure-sensitive contact film. The radiation pattern can be generated by converging radiation by an optical lens or a magnetic lens or by shading using shade regions by a mask or a stencil. As a crosslinkable compound, a copolymer of a benzophenone group-substituted (meth) acrylic acid derivative and an unsubstituted (meth)acrylate is particularly suitable.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the simple and accurate identification of particles in a sample during centrifugation by irradiating the sample under the action of centrifugal force with laser light, evaluating the spectrum of an inelastic scattering light part of reflected scattering light, and measuring the characteristic amount of matter. SOLUTION: A sample characteristics displaying device is provided with a rotor 1 with a rotating shaft 2, and cells 3 and 4 with empty chambers to hold samples are provided for the grooves of the rotor 1. A laser light source 5 irradiates the cell 4, and a detecting device 6 identifies and stores the spectrum of reflected scattering light from the sample 4. The other light source 9 irradiates the cell 3 via notch filter 10. A detecting device 11 analyzes the spectrum of reflected scattering light passed through the notch filter 10. The laser light source 5, the detecting device 6, the light source 9, and the detecting device 11 can be synchronously moved radially along arrows 7a and 12a and vertically along arrows 7b and 12b. The detecting devices 6 and 11 transmit numerical values to an evaluating device 8.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly acquire accurate information in regard to liquid flow by using the liquid flow supplied from a pump for a plurality of separation channels and a changeover device. SOLUTION: Carrier liquid is supplied to each separation channel 2 by a pump 1, a flow control valve is provided in the inlet 4 of each separation channel 4, and the carrier liquid is introduced and passed to each separation channel 2 by same pressure. The whole separation channel 2 is made same structure, made the same flow condition in regard to the carrier liquid, and an analytical result is directly comparable. A sample is introduced from each inlet 4 by a changeover valve. A traverse flow is supplied to a flowmeter 6 through a multi- directional valve 5 and an outlet pipe, flow resistance is provided in the outlet pipe, and is the same pressure drop of the flowmeter 6. After the sample passing through the separation channel 2 corresponding thereto together with the axial flow of the carrier liquid passes through one separation channel 2 respectively, it is supplied to the other analyzer or a measuring device through the other multi-directional valve 7. A detector and the individual separation channel 2 are connected by the multi-directional valve 7 at a constant cycle.

Based on the measured luminance value of the spectral line, a diffusion parameter, concentration, size or the flow behavior of particles in the sample corresponding to the spectral line is calculated by analyzing a change in luminance value, particularly a self correlation or a frequency.
