Abstract: A process for the preparation of finely divided polyolefin molding materials from 100 parts by weight of polyolefin and from 1 to 30 parts by weight of a conductive carbon black, with or without other additives, wherein the mixture of polyolefin powder and carbon black is compounded, in a first stage, until the crystallite melting point of the polyolefin is reached, and is then brought, in a second stage, to a temperature which is from 3 DEG to 40 DEG C. above the said crystallite melting point, after which the mixture is discharged from the mixer within from 0.5 to 30 seconds and is cooled within 120 seconds.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the preparation of ethylene polymers in a tubular polymerisation system at pressures of from 500 to 5000 bar and temperatures of from 50 to 450 DEG C in the presence of polymerisation initiators which decompose to form free radicals, in which a mixture of ethylene, oxygen, regulator and optionally comonomers is fed to the polymerisation system at its inlet point (A) and simultaneously to a second point (C) after the inlet point along the polymerisation system, where the reaction temperature has exceeded a maximum, and in which, in addition, an initiator whose half-value temperature, measured in benzene as solvent, is above 140 DEG C is metered in at a further point (B) of the reactor, at which the temperature of the oxygen-initiated reaction has already exceeded the maximum and which is between the inlet points (A and C). The concentration of the additionally metered-in initiator is from 0.01 to 20 mol ppm, based on the entire amount of ethylene fed to the polymerisation system. The additionally metered-in initiator is an organic peroxide, an organic hydroperoxide or a mixture of organic peroxide and hydroperoxide.
