Abstract:
The invention relates to a polyamide shaped part which can be obtained by anionic polymerization of a lactam containing microcapsules comprising a capsule core of latent heat-storage material and a polymer as the capsule wall. The invention also relates to a method for producing this shaped part and to its use in vehicle construction, for battery housings, for housings for small electronic units, and for systems for keeping food hot.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of polymer particles for the production of photonic crystals, characterized in that the polymer particles have a weight average particle size of more than 600 nm and an ion group content of less than 0.001, preferably of less than 0.0001 mol/1 g of polymer particles and the polymer particles form the lattice structure of the photonic crystal without being embedded in a liquid or solid matrix.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to microcapsules, comprising a capsule core and a capsule wall, wherein the capsule wall is composed of 50 to 90% by weight of one or more C1-C24-alkyl esters of acrylic and/or methacrylic acid (monomers I), 10 to 50% by weight of one or more polyvinyl monomers (monomers II), and 0 to 30% by weight of one or more monounsaturated, non-ionizable monomers (monomers III), which are different from monomers I, in each case relative to the total weight of the monomers. The invention further relates to a method for the production of said microcapsules, and to the use thereof in binding building materials, textiles and heat transfer fluids.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The process comprises filling a mold with a mixture containing cement, water and expandable styrene polymer granulates and then solidifying by heating at 80-250[deg] C under foaming of styrene polymer granulates. The heating is controlled so that the lightweight concrete has a density of 100-600 kg/m 3>. The heating of the mixture is carried out over a heatable form. The water used to produce the mixture is preheated at 30-90[deg] C.
