Abstract: Alkyne cleaning involves utilizing a solvent, to which a polymerization inhibitor is added. The polymerization inhibitor is selected from N-oxylene, secondary amine or their mixture. The solvent is selected from N-alkyl substituted pyrrolidone, dimethylformamide, dimethylacetamide, lactone, alcohol, mineral oils, water, alkaline solutions, alkane or their mixture.
