Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel process for producing a tertiary alkyl ester of (meth)acrylic acid having at least four carbon atoms in the alkyl group without any drawbacks of prior art.SOLUTION: In a process for producing a tertiary alkyl ester of (meth)acrylic acid having at least four carbon atoms in the alkyl group which comprises (1) a step of reacting (meth)acrylic acid with at least one olefin of formula I in a homogeneous phase in the presence of an acidic catalyst, (2) a step of discharging the obtained reaction mixture (1) from a reactor, (3) a step of separating the discharged reaction mixture (2) into a mixture (3.1) containing the catalyst and a mixture (3.2) containing a target ester, and (4) a step of separating the target ester from the mixture (3.2), (5) at least one compound S having at least one N-oxyl group is added as a stabilizer in the treatment step (4).
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel preparation method of a tertiary alkyl ester of (meth)acrylic acid with at least 4 carbon atoms in an alkyl group, provided that the method is free of disadvantages associated with conventional technology. SOLUTION: The method for preparing the tertiary alkyl ester of (meth)acrylic acid with at least 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl group comprises the steps of: (1) reacting (meth)acrylic acid with at least one olefin of formula I in a homogeneous phase in the presence of an acidic catalyst in a reactor; (2) discharging the obtained reaction mixture (1) from the reactor; (3) separating the discharged reaction mixture (2) into a mixture (3.1) containing the catalyst and a mixture (3.2) containing the target ester and; (4) removing the target ester from the mixture (3.2). (5) In the treatment step (4), at least one compound S containing at least one N-oxyl group is added as a stabilizer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
Process for transferring heat to a liquid mixture comprising at least one (meth)acrylic monomer with the aid of an indirect heat exchanger comprises introducing the liquid mixture simultaneously into the primary side of the heat exchanger by a liquid heat carrier and secondary side of the heat exchanger, where: the liquid mixture comprising at least one (meth)acrylic monomer contains at least one added active compound other than (meth)acrylic monomers from tertiary amine or salts formed from a tertiary amine and Bronsted acid, and quaternary ammonium compounds. Process for transferring heat to a liquid mixture comprising at least one (meth)acrylic monomer with the aid of an indirect heat exchanger comprises introducing the liquid mixture simultaneously into the primary side of the heat exchanger by a liquid heat carrier and secondary side of the heat exchanger, where: the liquid mixture comprising at least one (meth)acrylic monomer contains at least one added active compound other than (meth)acrylic monomers from tertiary amine or salts formed from a tertiary amine and Bronsted acid, and quaternary ammonium compounds, with proviso that none of the tertiary and quaternary nitrogen atoms in the active compound bears a phenyl group, but at least partly contains an alkyl group.
